blonde poker forum

It's pointless to deny, it was a bit of a fraught weekend for the Forum, & the Mods, more of which soon, but that's another story.

I was AWOL all weekend, for various reasons, & Tighty ditto, though sliightly less so.

So we had a reduced Mod Team on duty - & boy, did they get put through the mangle.

8 threads deleted, 9 Mods Board threads started, over 280 Posts - on the Mods Board alone, dealing with, & trying to sort, the aftermath of the "State of the Forum" thread. Add in a dozen or more incoming snotty e-Mails, some eye-wateringly offensive MSN Convos, in which our guys were threatened, & sworn at big-time, & roundly abused, & you start to get the picture.

They may - may - have got a decision or two wrong, who knows? - but it's just a poker Forum, which happens to have the maxim "Poker with a Smile". Quite what the Mods did to deserve such treatment baffles me. They are unpaid, just trying to help keep the peace, & poker's just a recreation, something to be enjoyed.

We can discuss the whole Forum thing elsewhere - not on this thread, please - but I'd jut like to publicly apologise to, & thank, the Mods, for getting through the weekend. If you only knew what a tough time they were given.

To the Mods, I doff my hat. If it happened again tomorrow, they'd be daft not to resign en masse. But it won't!

To them, my sincere thanks.

And to the Members who had to endure all that stuff, thanks for hanging around.

I'm sure most of us can imagine.

gee 8 threads deleted makes me look like a  ;angel;  sounds like i missed 1 hell of  a weekend..

maybe  a new ruling any abusing of any Mods insta 2 week ban? (kev excluded) ;)

Can we have a new forum area for all the deleted threads / posts?

I'd love to know what they say. It might help to expose some of the idiots as well and show us what the mods have to put up with.

Might be best to lock it though so that it can't be added to.

Perhaps just a once a month "banned posts amnesty".

We'd never let TK back on the forum!!!

Mods are just normal members who TK's asked to lend a hand, we don't need any special treatment IMHO. Conversely we shouldn't be held to any higher standars in out posting (particularly me & Kev).
