Kieeyil 19/17/4.44 (1600 hands) seems to know what they are doing part from one hand where he called a rr with 97o 3 handed which i thought was a bit of a light call. Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? Post by: AlexMartin on July 25, 2008, 04:25:06 AM 4.44. I c/c flop for sure. Dont think you can really lead for value here but this is a bit of an odd one as we need way more info and readz to have a clue.
standard oop bs :( p.s i think this is a blatant 200bb deep brag too tbh, who was the unfortunate soul? ;) Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? Post by: boldie on July 25, 2008, 09:12:48 AM check call for me. I'm with Alex on the Standard OOP BS thing though...blah at that.
Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? Post by: snoopy1239 on July 25, 2008, 10:46:53 PM Maybe I'm passive, but I'm check folding unless he makes a small bet. In these spots, players often have A-K, J-J or T-T, maybe even A-Q. I certainly wouldn't lead as he's likely to push.
I actually think it's a bad flop for you unless he has a history of calling 3 bets with weak hands. Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? I agree its a bad flop, but check/folding here out of position in 3bet pots is pretty ugh as you would have to balance it by cring almost all of your range, which leads to complications when trying to valuetown thinking villains and just gives up a load or initiative and medium sized pots. You have QQ, you still have the best hand a bunch of the time, probably >50%. Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? Post by: UpTheMariners on July 27, 2008, 12:41:54 AM ok i checked, check again?
** Dealing the flop: Jh Kd Ts rudddaniel checked Kieeyil checked ** Dealing the turn: 8d rudddaniel..... Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? Post by: boldie on July 27, 2008, 11:13:40 AM any stab you take now will seem like a steal..any stab he takes will look the same..and a decent oppo would know this...tricky spot check call again for me, but really not sure what the best line is against most oppos here and interested to hear what everybody else thinks.
Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? Post by: EvilPie on July 27, 2008, 05:05:53 PM I'm check calling here. If the river's not an A or Q then I check knowing that he can't fire another bullet without the King. I think a check call looks strong here and he's not going to come after it without the goods following that.
Got to make it an instacall / instacheck though so it looks like a planned trap. If he bets the river then I'm off because he can't possibly do that with an underpair to my queens. If you bet you're not getting called by anything that you're beating and it's not like you need to steal anyway with 2nd pair. If I have a good hand here I'm betting to make it look like a steal but I can't see any action coming. By good hand I mean massive hand. Problem is that he could do that as well but doubtful with position. If you're winning you're up against AJ or an underpair and neither can call if you bet now. My prediction: Check, Check. Q comes on the river, He's got AJ and takes us to valuetown. Title: Re: Whats Your Line Here? Post by: snoopy1239 on July 27, 2008, 05:12:00 PM I'm checking it down. Out of position on a dangerous board against someone who has called a preflop reraise. I don't see the point of betting out, you only get called against a better hand, so might as well take it to the river.
