I'm quite easily pleased with films, but this is probs one of the biggest letdowns from the last couple of years, considering the budget anyway... Wish I had seen this before I did....... I'm quite easily pleased with films, but this is probs one of the biggest letdowns from the last couple of years, considering the budget anyway... I thought the initial attack by the aliens was quite good - the way it happens in the background as Tom Cruise is running away. But then it goes all meh. Not helped by the fact they stuck quite closely to the book, which finishes 'it was really bad then they all died, the end', which doesn't make for a big climax. Think that was more so it wasn't just Independence Day with added tripods. "Were going to need a bigger boat"Anyone read the original book by Peter Benchley,i found it in the school library when about twelve untouched by anyone,it's got loads of fith in it(i had to look up some words lol).Once i told my mates it was the most popular book in there. |
