You hit a very safe flop,

you bet 1$ into a 4$ pot what are you trying to do with that bet?


Then when someone raises you (to 4$) you again raise only 6.50, what is that bet supposed to do?

And then you lead out on a blank turn, could you possibly show more strength in this hand? You might as well flip your hand over and tell him not to mess with you as you have him crushed.

Leading out with a set is good...I love that play...but lead out a decent amount. Into a 4$ pot a 1$ bet doesn't make sense as it doesn't get the money in. Bet 2.50-3.00. This gives him a chance to re-raise you and bet 10$-12$ ...this would virtually commit him to the pot as he would already have 13$ out of his 22$ invested. Tat means you can move in over him on the flop..or you can Flat call his check raise so that he can fire in his last 10$ (and he should)..and that  should be that.

either check-call him on the flop, or bet-call...  Your 1/4 pot bet then a min-re-raise screams stregth to him, you've literally turned your cards over here for him to see... OK maybe if he has AK and cant put it down, but generally your oppo can get away from this fairly easily...

Agree with the 2 comments above that your line stinks of uber strength, I would suggest stop making these small bets and min raises that are achieving little but losing value and repping a monster not a great combo.

There are various lines you can take here but bet/call or bet/3bet oop are reasonable, I prefer the former as this uber nit must have something to raise such a dry flop and is likely to bet the turn.

So something like 3.5 on the flop, call the raise which will be about 12 and then check the turn hopefully get a turn bet from villian.

Give him a free river card if he wants it.

By betting the turn he knows it's going to cost him twice. If he's got something half decent, JJ, QQ for example he probably wants a showdown because you might not have the King.

By betting the turn he knows he's got to pay you off twice and he's unlikely to do that especially as you're likely to bet big on the river.

Check the turn, give him another card then bet $10. He now knows it's only going to cost him $10 max to see what you've got and curiosity might get the better of him and you scrape a bit more out of him.

Also do what Boldie says on the flop. Put in a decent bet half to 3/4 pot. This looks like a nice C bet that he could easily call. If he raises just flat it. You then show weakness by checking the turn hopefully leading to a nice big steal raise which you flat. Then give him a decent calling price on the end to get fully paid off.

The key to these situations is in disguising your hand. When you raise preflop and reraise on the flop, it's showing a lot of strength on such a dry board. Looks like A-K at least. Sometimes, you're just not going to win a big pot, so the best you can do is disguise your hand as best as possible and start milking.
