interested in views on how to play this hand. been playing an hour so, rebuy period about to end. average is 4,700. $20 for 1500 chips and add on $20 for 2000

first question is, how much do u raise?? (if at all)

then after the raise i make, i wasnt prepared for wot happend, but ive been told i should def have been prepared for this considering the style of the tounry and wot stage were at. wot ur views on this?? is it worth risking my stack when was gonna have a add on. not really wanting to spend another $60 on 2 rebuys and a add on to have 6k

If your not really prepared to be spening another $60 if you lose, you shudn't play this high, or dont rebuy. But then your losing equity.

tbh with this being a rebuy you'll struggle to find an easier call


this is such a -ve attitude and completely the wrong mindset to be in playing a r/b.

what you should be thinking is what a great chance this is to get your stack up to about 11k before the add on. if you lose then never mind 'cos you can still get a 6k stack anyway

Not sure whether it's a good idea or not but could be worth thinking about.

I think raise is slightly too large tbh, ur making it fairly clear you have premium. I guess some mugs might think you have a small/medium pp with your bet-sizing but meh.

 let numpties imagine non-existent fold equity with AJ at a predefined (good time to shove). Also, this has to be a snap call to generate a stack. If you lose it its prolly not worth the double rebuy+addon job unless you have huge edge on table and table numbers mean its unlikely its breaking soon, afterall, the same comp is prolly running the next day.

I'd just shove the lot in pre and let the shorties call you with rubbish - its a rebuy and there are 2 minutes left- if you are going to just raise then make sure you allow the shortest stack christ4700 to re open the betting if he shoves so u can get it in - that would mean raising to 590 max - so 500 should be ok.
