Starting this month THURSDAY 7th August 8.30pm TUESDAY 12th August 8.30pm THURSDAY 21st August 8.30pm TUESDAY 26th August 8.30pm All $12 NLHE Freezeouts TOP 3 RESULTS COUNT You want ADDED VALUE ? YOU GOT IT !! We will be running 6 monthly leagues in this format ... the 6 winners of the leagues will all play a 6 seater "CHAMPIONS STT" The TOP 3 in the final STT will get a seat in a DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/) 3-2-1 Main event (£300 + £30) places 4,5,6 will get a 5% share of each of the 3 winners action ... so each winner will be playing for 85% of himself and the runners up will have 3 x 5% shares. the points scoring format for the leagues will be .. 1st 12 2nd 10 3rd 8 4th 7 5th 6 6th 5 7th 4 8th 3 9th 2 10th 1 In the event of 1 player winning more than 1 monthly league, the place in the "CHAMPIONS STT" will go to the runner up of that particular league. Each of the winners were contacted after the leagues finished, as you know, but seeing as you now raise the issue publically rather than contacting us privately... It was explained that we had to delay the Champions STT because of a significant deterioration in our business from the time of the first of the six leagues last August until their conclusion in the first part of 2009. As you know this led to us having to let a couple of people go. Things have picked up slightly, and as soon as we have the spare cash we'll be running the Champions STT, I'm hoping this will be within the next few months, depending on how rake goes. Coincidentally the lack of cash is also the reason why we haven't had a monthly league recently..we don't have the resources to add value, without which a league loses some attraction Title: Re: You want leagues on blonde ?? What about splitting the prizepool and putting 20% towards a bigger buy-in for the overall winner. eg 5 x league games (average 30 runners) @ $10 That would leave $300 for an overall prize (Maybe entry to the $250k gtd on Blonde) Could offer a stake to those finishing 2nd-5th. We will be running 6 monthly leagues in this format ... the 6 winners of the leagues will all play a 6 seater "CHAMPIONS STT" The TOP 3 in the final STT will get a seat in a DT (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/)D (http://www.dusktilldawnpoker.com/) 3-2-1 Main event (£300 + £30) places 4,5,6 will get a 5% share of each of the 3 winners action ... so each winner will be playing for 85% of himself and the runners up will have 3 x 5% shares. ;bump; These 6 monthly leagues finished in January.....
