Title: Galloway's tournament tips
Post by: AndrewT on August 13, 2008, 04:59:44 PM
I hope no one minds me linking to this, but Simon Galloway has written an article for THM which has had me crying with laughter.

I don't geddit, that's good advice that is!

It helped me grow my Bankroll (TK stylee) from about £1k to a massive £165 over a few months.

Absolute rubbish, no guide could be complete without the limp in early position with K6 suited and then calling any all-in.

That was quality, and has obviously been widely read and religiously adhered to.

Don't flatter yourself.
you posess neither the analytical or literary skills necessary to successfully translate my poker style to mere words.  I have obviously been asked many times to commit to posterity my own version of Super System., but as I always say of such articles, and their writers,if they are that successful why are they sharing their secrets with the rest of us mere mortals?

Clearly those whose system is flawed need the extra financial income any articles generate. They, and you Sir, are nothing more than charlatans and should be treated with nought but contempt.

Good day to you.

The brevity of your replies is evidence enough of your limited capabilities. And you wish us to believe that you are able to produce articles of more than one paragraph.  Pah!!!

Steady on, or I'll produce proof, via a link to my blog "elsewhere". A recent article was entitled "Schnozzle Magoo, the Tortoise & the Hare". Are you getting my drift here?....

CHAPTER 1
Betting Into Dry Side Pots with King High

You may get a stare from the high-quality player opposite you'd forced into folding pocket eights on an unscary board, but sometimes you just know that king is coming on the turn...

The brevity of my replies was more highly correlated with the contempt with which I hold your jousting sir.  Thus, One paragraph is more than fit for purpose.

Contempt Sir? Gadzooks, your contempt no more registers within my circumfernece than a mouse on an elephant. As for jousting, the lists are no place for such dishonourable miscreants as yourself. Now be on your way with nary a backward glance lest I take my well-appointed boot to your well-proportioned backside.
