Title: Re: Holiday Post by: Newmanseye on August 15, 2008, 04:05:36 AM Gran Canaria, Great Island, you can do the touristy things if you want, there s great night life, fantastic Golf, Paintball & Rock climbing.
If you like Scuba its very nice for that too as well as other watersports, it caters for all sorts with a couple of Nudist beaches and a bustling Gay community. The north of the island is where you will find authentic island living away from the tourist filled south, Plenty of bargins to be had at the local markets. If you plan on going with a significant other, then you can do far worse than visit the Gran Canaria. FYI I prefer Maspalomas due to its close proximity to Playe de ingles, Its quiet at night and you have lots close by during the day. But if that wont float your boat, give Marmaris in turkey a bash. Title: Re: Holiday Post by: Royal Flush on August 15, 2008, 06:38:46 AM How much ££££ you got to spend ? No real limit, obv £10m to go to space a bit out of the budget. Title: Re: Holiday Post by: boldie on August 15, 2008, 08:46:08 AM Cuba, take a different holiday. Stay in the Hotel Nacionale, proper 1950's luxury. Just sit back and relax. Have a look at some of the architecture. Great weather. You can go fishing (proper sea fishing) scuba diving and all that non-sense if you're into that sort of thing.
One drawback is the long flight there, every thing else is the holiday of a lifetime mate. Title: Re: Holiday Post by: Suited_Jock on August 15, 2008, 09:13:05 AM some good deals on med places with like minded folk here flushy : www.throb.co.uk
