im totally undecided about any bet i did hear the big 4 to win was 5-2, which seems a good lay Title: Re: Weekends Footie bets. Post by: Pelham Boy on August 15, 2008, 06:17:10 PM I had an absolute shocker betting on football last season. This season i'm looking for teams i deem to be 'value'.
So my bet for this week is,Bolton,Everton,Fulham,Middlesbro,Villa. 4 folds and an accy. Title: Re: Weekends Footie bets. Post by: Colchester Kev on August 15, 2008, 06:19:56 PM why bet at all in the first few weeks of a season ... individual match betting is best left alone for at least a month.
Title: Re: Weekends Footie bets. Post by: Maxriddles on August 15, 2008, 07:20:23 PM Main bet is Arsenal, Reading, Cambridge, Stevenage all at home and Tottenham away.
Some value aways in Scotland although by no means certainties are Dunfermline, Livingston, and Falkirk. Will be having a pop at the sendings off betting on blue square, Arsenal v WBA, backing both individually to have a man sent off and backing both teams to have a man sent off. But to be on the safe side could go with the double chance fulham and draw Title: Re: Weekends Footie bets. Post by: action man on August 16, 2008, 07:33:18 AM my bet today is a double which pays around 13/8
Leeds Reading my mate who is a winner on footy has got heavily stuck into villa at 1/1 to beat city Title: Re: Weekends Footie bets. Post by: Graham C on August 16, 2008, 08:27:26 AM I have a feeling Villa will do well this season. Arsenal, Bolton and Villa for me today, no great value, but I'm small stakes anyway.
