Post by: sharpy on August 15, 2008, 05:26:27 PM The man was a legend down here.He kicked started our great escape quite literally with 2 great strikes against Man city 2 years ago(ironically David James was in goal for city that day).A good player IMO and on his day controls the midfield and the pace of the game.He will need a good run of games to get back towards his best again(something he didn't have last season) but I personaly don't think he has been as good since Ben Thatcher done him.He will be a good signing for you,and given a good run of games £3 million could be a bargain.
