Title: Good spot to squeeze?? Post by: T_Mar on August 17, 2008, 05:19:52 PM Large field $10 MTT on Stars
Blinds 75/150/20 9 handed UTG+2 limps 150 (~2k) MP1 bumps to 600 (~6k) CO calls 600 (~7k) Pot 1530 I have Th9h in the BB (~5k) Table is pretty loose, the raise from MP1 is standard with a limper - I could assign a fairly wide range to all 3 players in this spot so looking to take the chips in the middle. What do people think the best way to achieve this is?? 1) Shove now 2) Raise to ~2500 pre and then open shove any flop if called Not sure what is best with my stack size ~33bb (Is this too big to shove??) Does the 'go and go' look stronger?? ..Also if you were either of the other players in this hand what would be your calling range if someone shoved on you in this spot? Title: Re: Good spot to squeeze?? Post by: MANTIS01 on August 17, 2008, 07:32:48 PM I would call. Is that very bad? The chances are you'll treble up if you like the flop. This is where these hand work very well, espescially in a big donkfest. I agree it could be bad though.
Title: Re: Good spot to squeeze?? Post by: NoflopsHomer on August 17, 2008, 10:23:07 PM I really don't like a call. It's needless to put in >10% of your stack here with suited connectors, you don't hit the flop often enough.
Title: Re: Good spot to squeeze?? Post by: MC on August 18, 2008, 11:22:35 AM Worth a call here for me...
Then again UTG probably shoves and then it's a bad call... |
