Title: ForthComing BLONDITE poker events
Post by: Ironside on November 11, 2005, 07:30:45 PM
monday 14th november 20:00 PLO   $10 +$1  Pokerstars (http://www.pokerstars.com)

on the 29th of november and running for 4 weeks there will be the blondepoker league
it will be a 10k freeroll league with no need to make a depsoit and no rebuys
points will be awarded to the first 30 each week and the top 30 in the league will share the 10k
the site is a well known brand name in the uk and infact worldwide but
is relaunching there product on the 23rd of november
players will need to download the software via the blondepoker codes which i will publish nearer the launch date
so remember to keep those 4 tuesday free to try and win your share of the 10k

also in the pipeline is a £10 comp on littlewoods (http://www.littlewoodspoker.com/index.php?2636089)
this comp will have a bounty on elblondie and have added money to the pool date TBA
and date TBC a comp on UPL (http://travis.bosscasinos.com/re.asp?name=POK&camp=REF3104_0&go=http%3a%2f%2fwww.universitypokerleague.com) this event will take place hopefully between christmas and new year as UPL as elblondies current sponsor a good blondite turnout will show them how much we care

i am also currently talking to a card room about running a team comp, we will only do this is we can work out a way to hold the comp with no chip dumping but the signs are good for the new year

if any other cardrooms want to hold a blondite comp please feel free toPM me

if any blondites have any idea for different comps dont forget to let me know

No. don't guess anymore as there won't be any more answers from me or we'll end up going down a list

are these monthlies getting more expensive or am i dreaming?

definitely eurobet

Title: Re: ForthComing BLONDITE poker events
Post by: TightEnd on November 12, 2005, 12:36:39 PM
This monthly is £30, most so far have been £20

100% definite: it's not Eurobet

Title: Re: ForthComing BLONDITE poker events
Post by: Ironside on November 12, 2005, 03:47:07 PM
soory the monthly will remain £20 my error

the monthly comp will not increase in price

Title: Re: ForthComing BLONDITE poker events
Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 05:59:40 PM
For the avoidance of doubt, I confirm what Iron has just said - the Monthly Crypto will remain at £20, & we have no plans at all to up the buy-in.

It's entirely possible that we wil run higher value comps from time to time, but in the main, it's our intention to ensure that the majority of the blondeites can play our comps, so the buy-ins will always remain "sensible".

i was a little concerned numbers may decrease if the money were to increase, i believe these are less to do with money and more to do with oneupmanship :)

We are of one mind on this ifm. The blonde comps ARE about "oneupmanship", affordability for everyone, and fun. And they will stay that way.

correct the 30 came from the fact we use 30$ in some comps which equates to £20 the idea of blonde comps is everyone plays and costs will remain at a level to allow most people to play

All sounds great except.. I can't play on crypto because i'm in the USA...Do you ever have comps at ALL IN poker or any of their skins ?

Title: Re: ForthComing BLONDITE poker events
Post by: Ironside on November 12, 2005, 08:27:55 PM
they are certain crypro sites that allow USA members

we will certainly look into having comps on all networks and skins

dan: Yes ironside is working on it now, when he has the details he will publish them all. He can't say who the site is yet for if the software is downloaded other than from blonde then it is unlikely that you will be able to play in the Comp.

ifm: You worry me  :D
