Title: Do these Olympic gold medals actually have any au (gold) content ? Post by: Karabiner on August 20, 2008, 12:15:52 AM I saw an interview with Rebecca Adlington who was wearing her two "gold" medals and they made a very hollow tinny sound when they jangled together, so i was just wondering if there actually is any gold in there at all.

Post by: Graham C on August 20, 2008, 09:41:11 AM They said (the tele people) that due to the increase in the value of gold over the last couple of years, the gold medals for this Olympics cost twice as much as the ones in Athens.
