Title: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 05:31:55 PM Dave Colclough made the Final of the €300 Rebuy on Friday as big Chip Leader, the Final is being played today. Nottingham Nick Gibson, aka Gwibbo, also Finalled, as did, I believe, Ian McDonald from Notts.
For Dave, this is as much aboiut William Hill European Rankings points as money, he's the current leader, but only be a few points. He already has 10 "scores", so he will have to drop one score to make todays effort count. His smallest score is 300, so that's the first target. Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 05:34:36 PM I am back home now, but Dave is texting me updates from the table.
Nick Gibson went out early, after he walked into pocket Aces. Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 05:36:38 PM Text in from Dave......
"...down to six in super fast speed...." So that means Dave has picked up a minumum of 480 points, thus he can drop his lowest score of 300, & is 180 points better off. Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 05:37:29 PM "....still chip leader, but close now....." Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 05:55:41 PM These are texts from Dave, word for word.....
"...just had Aces, busted a guy, chip leader now with 5 left......" Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: Robert HM on November 12, 2005, 05:58:54 PM Wish him all the best if you get the chance

Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 06:02:14 PM Will do. He's had a rotten week in Amsterdam - he had his laptop stolen from a restaurant on Thursday, so he was not a happy bunny. But a nice result today will bring a smile to his face.
Come on Mr Burns! Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: tikay on November 12, 2005, 06:11:33 PM ".... out fifth...." I bokked him. Damn. Title: Re: El Blondie Finals in Amsterdam Post by: Robert HM on November 12, 2005, 07:53:10 PM Whoops! but a bit of cash and some more points to keep him away from the ruminant.
