Title: Flair PLO hand
Post by: Royal Flush on August 27, 2008, 06:56:07 PM
£2-£2 dealers choice cash game, you are playing £3k 1 other playing £2k rest around 200-600.

Now most of the players try and avoid getting in pots. I decided to play a funky had, opinions....

Sat in the C/O i got dealt  Tc Td Th Ts and limped in behind about 5 players, the flop was 7 handed.

The flop:  Ac Js 3s

BB leads out for £15 i decided to flat in the hope a K or Q peels off, the button calls behind.

The turn:  Kc

The BB now leads out for £60 he has £300 behind, i raise to £240

Thoughts?

High risk here Flushy - would be better against the other bigstack I reckon. At least you'll be able to pot a blank river.
I suppose it depends on the other player but if he shoves you'll have to pass for £120 more lol.
If hes got a set/2 pair and a flush draw he's probably going nowhere.
He could have 4pair and 2 flush draws.
Still its worth the risk to show him the "snow" if he passes

He isn't passing with two pair and a flush draw imo.

[  ] good raise,

[X] flat the turn and pot when he checks the river providing braodway is still the nuts.

[X] show your hand if he folds the turn, claim you had the exact hand which is one less than your oppo if shoves.

Yeah it was my mistake to raise the turn i thought, should flat then jam river.

Better to min the turn I reckon - leaves him £240 with £285 in pot and every reason to check pass blank river

i'm pretty likely to call you with trips on the river if you don't jam the turn and flush doesn't hit.
