Title: HU SNG hand Post by: gribbo on September 09, 2008, 04:02:10 PM Game is $22+1 turbo HU SNG
opponent is fairly weak/tight and i have been winning a lot of small pots the whole match without showing any hands. Blinds are 40/80 I have 2055 chips and complete with 2h 3h, opponent has 865 and checks in BB Flop is 4h 8h 6d Villain shoves for 865 In your opinions is this an insta call/fold? Bearing in mind that Ive been winning most hands through small pots and villain has been very passive whole match. You'll beat him soon just stay patient.

In fact, having stoved it, you're a 48/52 dog against a random hand, never mind a hand he might choose to commit all his chips with. Insta-fold and not even close. Title: Re: HU SNG hand Post by: MC on September 09, 2008, 05:09:59 PM It's annoying, but you have to pass here.
Assuming flush and straight are good you're 40% which you don't have odds to call for...and that's best case scenario here. Obviously if you had two overcards, or Qh 7h or something, it's an insta call... Title: Re: HU SNG hand Post by: david3103 on September 10, 2008, 09:20:37 AM Insta fold unless I'm in the BB with pocket 4s in which case the 6h will come on the turn to give me the house
and of course the 5h will appear on the river otherwise ... Title: Re: HU SNG hand Post by: Charlie44 on September 10, 2008, 09:19:04 PM The best you can realistically hope for is 12 outs ( 9 hearts and three 5s ) . This is barely enough for the odds to call, but you may easily not be drawing to the nut straight or flush.
Easy fold imo.
