Is he going to bet the turn with any pair lower than the ace? I doubt it but you'd know better. If he's got an ace then you're splitting AK and beating everything else. If he's got the 8 I think he bets less here because you called the turn and might call the river. If he's got a weak pair is he going to risk being reraised on the river when he doesn't need to? I don't know if I could find the call but having thought about it I can't see how you can be behind to anything but the 8.
