Title: Weak fold? Post by: EvilPie on September 12, 2008, 06:09:53 PM Playing a £50 tournament, 20 players left and I'm short stacked on 6k with the blinds at 400/800 + 100.
I'm in the small blind and it's folding towards me so I'm ready to pretend I look at my cards before shoving. Unfortunately the button (20k+) who I know as quite a solid player raises to 4k so I have to have a proper look. I find A8o and make an agonised fold. A10+ I definitely shove but I couldn't find the heart here even though it's not that much worse. Should I just shove here anyway? Can I really be behind his range given that he's raised so much on the button? Am I better to wait for the next time a hand folds to me and shove atc with my fold equity? He showed btw so I can give you the answer afterwards. Title: Re: Weak fold? Was shoving atc if it folded to me but didn't want to do it blind. Was obviously looking but pretending that what I saw actually makes any difference. Title: Re: Weak fold?
