Title: Insanely accurate player....bordering on perfect...
Post by: AlexMartin on September 13, 2008, 07:53:50 AM
Anyone had any experience with playing ppl who play almost perfectly? I just played a whole evening with someone (non-reg, never seen before) who played flawlessly for 10 hours straight. Making ridiculously thin vbets and amazing calls all night long, most of which were highly marginal at the best of times  (pretty godlike with next to no history) and i didnt once see them get it wrong. This was on 6 tables (i joined to watch them, just didnt get involved much coz they were obv on another level) and i am kinda tempted to ask betfair support for the HH's. I spoke via msn to another player who had two previous encounters with this guy (a long time ago) and once we had crossed DB', they are running @  roughly 41ptbb/100 over about 4k hands. I played them HU for a period after and got soul pwned, in some of the weirdest spots ever. Had a decent night overall so no bitterness but just really intigued, havent seen anything like it before. Any regular betfair players that play msnl pm me for further info as i dont want to out their sig on here for deceny reasons, would like to see if i can get more hands and compare winrates before crying wolf.

Very nicely put.

You're saying Betfair is rigged basically then?

Reporter Shoelace sniffs a story.

41ptbb/100 over 4k hands is running absolutely insanely hot. Might be worth having a poke about in the Betfair forum or on 2+2 for any mentions of him from people.

could it not be a higher stakes player moving down and crushing?

No.

It's either someone running ridic hot or they are cheating, the idea is to collate as many HH as possible as the more hands he has run at 40ptbb the less likely he is running hot.

What are the best players running at over a large number of hands? Any ideas?

What are his win at showdown % and his river agression factor like?

These were the first tells in Absolute/ UB scandal.

41/400 hands imo is more than hot. I could understand over a few hundred hands but over 1000s??? get in touch with some betfair regulars through the betfiar forum and see if you can get more tracker info.

the only exception to the above would be if his surname was grundy, thew or channing then 41/100 is probably running a little cold.

unbelievably tillerman was playing 500nl last night. I watched to see his tables and he was crushing obv. Il stick this on BF forum and look at his win @ showdown % and his river aggro factor.

I normally play pretty flawlessly and run around the the 40/100 ptbb online. Have done for a while but just started playing Betfair mid stakes so this could very well be me. I can save you the time though - dont report me though I'm not cheating.

yeah thats what I meant. I just checked and my average over 12k hands is 39.8bbs/100 and I've just started crushing betfair in the same way. Platonic was my teacher though so maybe this helps to explain

I know, I was attempting a rather poor joke as I didn't know if you were serious.  So you've won about 100 buyins over 12k hands?  Congrats on running better than anyone in the history of poker!
