Title: Instructional websites
Post by: GreekStein on September 14, 2008, 02:03:23 PM
Was just wondering what people who've used sites like Cardrunners thought of them? Have they helped your game etc?

Be good to have a few opinions before I subscribe to one

Cardrunners has been v.good for me.

For anyone who plays reasonable volume at anything above micro stakes would imagine it's +EV.

Definatley worth subscribing to at least one, Cardunners probably if you have never used on at all, particularly as it will give you a stronger handle on how all the tough regs are thinking at your table. I actually think deucescracled is much better, but I dont think I would have had I not been a CR member first.

to think a player who says he runs at 40/100 in 6 handed nl cash games over 12k hands needs any insturction whatsover is laughable.

I am still struggling to believe that figure can be acheived by any legal method- thats either one hellova heater you are sat on or you are using something nobody else knows about.

You can get 7 days free trial on deucescracked to see what it's like. Never used cardrunners but deucescracked is spot on.

Yeah just signed up for 7 day free trial last night and its pretty good-think i'm gonna continue with it- with cardrunners you also need to pay a joining fee which is kinda offputting when Deucescracked dont- its like when your deciding which gym to join- the one with joining fee but the swankier changing rooms, or the one with just normal facilities but no joining fee but will probably have the same end result
