Title: Where to start? Post by: Photurian on September 15, 2008, 03:33:03 PM I was conversing with a colleague and it turns out he would like to start playing regular live tournaments and qualifiers at a modest level.
To which i thought hey i'll tag along! He asked me where and how i play our would play to start out, to be honest the games i play are no good for a serious player as they can wreck your game if you play too often as its all loose aggressive and unknowledgable players that take part i go and play to try and help the novices as best i can. I feel my time helping these people can come to an end, so i feel as if i would like to get out and try some tournaments. So........... who out there can advise on where to go where to play and maybe when? By the way its handy to let you know we are both in Sheffield, so Brighton every other day would not be that good an idea for us. LOL. Thanks guys and gals. Title: Re: Where to start? Is your best bet within an hour, 40 mins max from Sheffield. Title: Re: Where to start? Post by: Photurian on September 15, 2008, 03:43:50 PM That was my consideration too.
After Saturday i feel that i may frequent this venue a little more often now. |
