Title: Memories.... Red Rum Post by: Bigfella on September 15, 2008, 11:46:14 PM After a night of bad beats I closed down the poker tables and stumbled onto youtube. If you like your horse racing and have ten minutes to spare, this is worth watching - Red Rums 3rd national victory. It's hard to get across on the recording the passion people had for this horse, and the course was a lot tougher back then as you'll see.
Remember his first win? I still find it hard to watch I just feel so sorry for Crisp! Enjoy http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dp4KN3vmBkg&NR=1 Title: Re: Memories.... Red Rum Post by: jakally on September 16, 2008, 12:36:05 AM Nice one BigFella. Hairs on the back of the neck when the crowd are cheering him down the run in. IIRC my dad had put my 20p on Andy Pandy - but as a young kid what other choice had I got. Title: Re: Memories....
