He has been winning a lot of pots without showdown. He always bets pot. I have him down as a bit of a fish because he 3-bet all-in on lvl 2 with KJo. He's fluctuated between 3k and 800 chips thus far. The hand before we won about 700 chips off him when we bet our top pair on the flop and turn, before calling his pot sized bluff on the river. (He missed his flush draw, a shame, because I had nut flush draw with my top pair.) Do I want to ship in half my stack on this board? Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. (STT) Post by: TheChipPrince on September 17, 2008, 07:07:13 PM Yes i think they go in here, I dont think you more than 60/40 on lots of occassions though, but you will be ahead... Qs Tc Maybe?
Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. (STT) Post by: MC on September 18, 2008, 01:08:47 AM Yeah think ship it in here. You have fold equity over some holdings and are probably ahead most of the time here. But obviously if he calls you could be racing.

(STT) Post by: Rupert on September 18, 2008, 03:27:18 PM wat. this is a pretty straightforward fold for me. no hand he gets it in with do you have super high equity against, like you're barely even 60% against half the hands he gets in. also it's unlikely you will fold out any hands that donk the flop so youre pretty much always at risk here
Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. (STT) Post by: thetank on September 18, 2008, 03:49:53 PM I folded the hand. Thought it was close. My thinking similar to Ruperts.
One factor not mentioned yet was I thought that knocking out seulmoitoi wouldn't have been as valuable as knocking out a random player because seulmoitoi was playing so bad. Not enough of a reason in itself, but it weighed in on the side of the fold argument. Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. (STT) Post by: ThatsSoMinusEV on September 29, 2008, 09:18:58 AM This is so obv a naked spade it's unbelievable, which gives him a lot of equity against you. But it could be pair+gutterballs or some two pair that he doesn't want you checking back with.
I'd play it conservative and flat on the flop, and get it in on non-spade turns. The only card I don't know how to play is a non-spade queen. Jamming the flop is ok, but I'd rather wait another street. If you put him as a fish, you can jam the turn and still have him call w FD's even w/o the odds Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. Ur so dead its unfunny. fold. Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board.
