He has been winning a lot of pots without showdown. He always bets pot. I have him down as a bit of a fish because he 3-bet all-in on lvl 2 with KJo. He's fluctuated between 3k and 800 chips thus far. The hand before we won about 700 chips off him when we bet our top pair on the flop and turn, before calling his pot sized bluff on the river. (He missed his flush draw, a shame, because I had nut flush draw with my top pair.) Do I want to ship in half my stack on this board? Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. One factor not mentioned yet was I thought that knocking out seulmoitoi wouldn't have been as valuable as knocking out a random player because seulmoitoi was playing so bad. Not enough of a reason in itself, but it weighed in on the side of the fold argument. Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board. But it could be pair+gutterballs or some two pair that he doesn't want you checking back with.
I'd play it conservative and flat on the flop, and get it in on non-spade turns. The only card I don't know how to play is a non-spade queen. Jamming the flop is ok, but I'd rather wait another street. If you put him as a fish, you can jam the turn and still have him call w FD's even w/o the odds Title: Re: Potted on a soaking wet board.
