Title: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: thetank on September 27, 2008, 08:31:36 PM I was browsing betfair and I liked the look of over 45.5 points being scored in the Chiefs vs the Broncos tomorrow @ 1.89
Both sides have questionable defences and I'm liking it to be a high scoring game. Before I have a punt though, does anyone have a link to that site that does the odd type of betting where it costs you more however shy of a certain target you are and you win more however much you exceed it by. Maybe I'd be better off with this kind of bet. Title: Re: NFL betting? I think it will be a high scoring game too Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: thetank on September 27, 2008, 09:34:59 PM Spread betting that was it, cheers Tighty.
Scary stuff setting up an account, I can't believe they allow people to expose themsleves to more than is in their actual account. I bet a lot of folk do their bollox in on this kind of stuff. Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: TightEnd on September 27, 2008, 09:48:09 PM for Sporting Index, read the Western economies in general...loads of margin exposure
Only no $700bn bailouts for NFL punters. Yet. Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: Gamblor21 on September 28, 2008, 01:27:32 PM I better go warn the NFL trader to move his spread in readyness for Tighty's large wager... More importantantly, Should i play Mcfadden RB for Oak over Johnson RB for KC in my fantasy team this week???
Your account would only go into a negative balance if you were heavily wrong, your bets are accepted on expected volitility. Normally worse when selling, if your buying points at a certain figure it's easy to work out your max risk. Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: thetank on September 28, 2008, 06:09:08 PM Hope you went for Johnson. 71 yards already in the first drive.
Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: Gamblor21 on September 28, 2008, 06:16:11 PM Dropped TJ and put McFadden in as choice back.
Johnson is in, more than he was projected already. I have a tough matchup this week though! Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: Newportlad on September 28, 2008, 08:43:57 PM I run so bad at NFL betting.
Picked the Broncos to beat the Chiefs. Easy money i thought..... currently 23-13 to Kansas in the 4th Quarter. Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: thetank on September 28, 2008, 08:46:23 PM lololol, I'm watching it +15 minutes, must stay off this thread if I don't want to spoil it.
Thankfully I never got round to punting on the score thing, doesn't look likely. Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: thetank on September 28, 2008, 09:34:34 PM Came in at the end tho, 52 points total.

KC 33 - Denver 19 Surprise result though, Kansas have been awful and Denver were 3-0. Title: Re: NFL betting? KC 33 - Denver 19 Surprise result though, Kansas have been awful and Denver were 3-0. Yeah, totally gutted here, as 4-0 would been sweet. Shanahan's record with the Broncos is now 3-11 against Kansas City. Definately his bogey team. He's 20-14 against the rest of the division. Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: KarmaDope on September 28, 2008, 10:30:09 PM Janikowski to attempt a 76yd FG into the wind!

gg Title: Re: NFL betting? (help me plz Tightend) Post by: KarmaDope on September 28, 2008, 10:38:38 PM Raiders still 15-0 up against San Diego at half time.
Now thats a score I never thought I'd be writing. Title: Re: NFL betting?
