I have entered into my longest losing streak ever, the outdraws are fantastic!!

I am now so tight i cant play URGHHHHHH!

Tips please someone tell me how to get out of this rut, coz this is really hurting and im in such a foul mood with everyone which is not good for someone who is normally really placid.

I suspect the solution is different for everyone. I'm just coming out of a streak where I played 130 MTT without a cash.

For me it helps to play something different. I decided to cut back online and play more live, figuring that even if I didn't win anything it would at least slow down the flow of cash that I was hemorrhaging. Luckily, I made 5 final tables out of 6 tournaments and my confidence came back.

I went back to online play and got a couple of cashes, nothing much, but it's a start. That being said, I do intend to play a lot more live poker, I deffo think it's easier to make money live than online these days, but you have to pick the right games and be careful to keep the expenses down.

So, My advice, Play somehing different foe a while. A change is as good as a rest.

You need to expect you can win to play with a winning style. No matter how well you play, a series of losses compromises this. I would go do something completely different for a bit.
When you come back, move into a game that you totally crush, like $10 online sit n gos. Build your confidence back up then go back to what you play.

if you are playing online, did you withdraw some cash just before the bad run started? There's no way that internet poker is straight. Concentrate on playing live only.

It was a while after the withdrawl that the run started i actually played well and got the cards and the luck for a while then it went down hill.

Its losing.

I never know if people actually mean it when they say the internet is rigged. Wishful thinking on my part for believing it to be sarcastic, I guess. Sad, really.

Streak over played live last night and trawled my way through a 40 strong field to emerge victorious.

Anywhere there is money there is cheating.......nature of people. The sites themselves I believe to be straight. There is no mileage in them cheating....they get their money regardless...i believe starting hand frequency may vary depending on the type of game......

Depends how you define 'site'. SiteX- Legitimate corporation: within the site's best interest to be legit and be seen to be legit. SiteX- collection of pros, suited-types, ex-cons, native-canadian-feather-wearing-wigwammed-wannabes; all of whom answer to 'The Site', none of whom really give a toss about the Site's overall best interest if it means them profiting greatly from a completely dishonest and fraudulent setup designed to rip off Joe McPublic.
The site 'gets money regardless, why would they compromise this' mantra was oft repeated a few years back, probably read and believed by those who lost a ton of money to myriad scandals, many of which probably never uncovered. They almost all came to light because of diligence and persistence on the part of total outsiders, and resolutions achieved almost exclusively with the relevant sites trying to deny it to the end despite their knowledge to the contrary.
No faith any more in most poker sites until I see truly independent regulation across the board.

5 on line games today following my live win all have met me with defeat and exasperation. Currently in my 6th in which i have bet all the way to the river and been called by the winner who needed runner runner for anything!

Ideally we want to be sat with these fools but they hit and hit and hit, but not live as they are too ashamed to make such calls! IMO

tbh Matt Broughtons article on a tilt table this week had me pmsl. absolute quality and it works. simply load up all ur normal tables, then a $50nl table or whatever. play no hands on the 50 table until u get a bad beat/ play dumb, then just go nuts on the 50 table to vent ur frustrations. finally found something that works, weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I think these days you simply apply to the govt for a new bankroll and continue as if nothing happened.
