First off all, you should be a wining poker player. A stable player that wins consistent over a long period. Or you could be a player with a big bankroll if you happen to be a little insecure in your game, and want to take a chance and see if you can develop your game while staying in Thailand. The new laws in Thailand permits you staying for a maximum of five months before you have to depart again for three months. After that, you’re free to enter the country again. That means that you can’t move to Thailand permanent and live of the poker if you don’t happen to fulfill certain requirements like for example having a work permit for a company in the country or being over 55 years old and retired and can show that you have money on your bank account.

not really sure why you posted this,,    i dont need the books for myself.  its for a thai girl who has took an interest in the game, but it is difficult for me to explain some things to her.

im in thailand now and have been for about four months since feb, spread over three trips,  and i assure you there is no time for poker when im here, there are too many other thigs to do here, namely , getting pissed and such.     she loved playing solitaire and stuff on the lappy so i thought id introduce her to the poker and she loves it,  but its doing my head in abit with all the constant questions and the fact that i cant ever get on  my puter, she is waiting for me now to get off it. lol.

the most i could find in thai, was an entry in wiki [thai]  but it was just a description ov the game, no strategy.

iv came to the conclusion that there is no poker info in thai because it is actually illegal, and i might find it tricky to persuade a friend to translate, what with all the work it would entail.
