Post by: DaveShoelace on October 13, 2008, 05:53:48 PM Deffo call, a 32/24 is going to show up with all sorts of hands you beat here (including busted flush draws), if the jacks were swapped around and the was the jack of diamonds on the river I would be more inclined to fold, but he never has QQ here so KT is the only concern.
Id want to know more about his post flop stats, rather than his preflop stats here btw. What % he calls the flop, how aggressive he is on different streets etc. Basically to ascertain if he ever calls with a gut shot on the flop. Id also bet the turn if you bet the flop btw. I like the flop bet because so many hands you beat will call, nothing has changed effectivley on the turn so I would charge again. Title: Re: Should I Call? Title: Re: Should I Call? Post by: GreekStein on October 13, 2008, 06:10:52 PM Its a call from me too - even though by posting this it makes me think you may have lost the hand.
Checking the turn is likely to have made him think you werent super strong and when you bet on the river he possibly thinks he can make you pass your hand. Barry mentioned K10 but 108 is a possibility too from someone playing off his stats. He probably makes the same move with a set too and possibly some 2 pair hands like QJ or Q9. The chances of QQ is so small. 10J and flush draws both missed so if he's got it he's got it and ur paying it off. What was the result? Title: Re: Should I Call?
