Title: Hippodrome Casino
Post by: Jon MW on October 14, 2008, 10:02:34 PM
The Hippodrome is being renovated and a casino will be in it.

The licence holders are United Leisure Gaming Limited - what else do they run?

This  (http://www.hippodrome-london.co.uk/index.html)is the link to the Hippodrome site - it's quite interesting even without the casino link

Seeing as Chinatown backs onto it I think I can safely say that it can.

LOL the casinos would have been fighting tooth and nail against each other for that property in that location......

Looking at the plans, there is no sign of a dedicated cardroom,....although there is a "hospitality" area in the basement and a cabaret area on the first floor,.........so there is room "to do an Empire" and create a poker area for tournaments.

Looks to be enough room enough for eleven of those 5-seater tables which are so commonly found in poker rooms.
