Post by: AlexMartin on October 20, 2008, 11:33:58 AM hand two is a seriously 5hit spot, but i generally call and make a river decision based on bet size. given how loose and deep you are though im gonna fold v this drooler a lot.
hand one i dont like the look of it at all. you should rarely be cbetting air here as this board hits callers ranges and therefore often have an overpair. looks like villain is trying to get stacks in and is gd tag who can probs handread ok. probs once in a while id c/r blank turns or do other funky shit v him but often im just giving up. need to know exact board texture too. im far more inclined to call a minraise on a two-tone board and CR brick turns than i am on rainbows. Title: Re: whats the min raise about? Post by: snoopy1239 on October 21, 2008, 04:59:02 AM Hand one I'm not keen on. He could have A-T and is trying to get an answer cheaply whilst making sure the donk doesn't make it 3-way, but he could easily have hit a set and is trying to tempt you into pushing. I think you should let it go rather than guess.
Hand 2... With those stats, I'd be surprised if he had aces or queens. A-6 or 7-6s are possible, but so are a number of other hands that you beat, not to mention a bluff, so I'd flat the raise and flat a river bet. |
