What an amazing story that is - simply breathtaking, so amazing as to be almost unbelievable.. What a Dad! Thanks Byron.

There is a delicious irony, too, as a postscript. The video is "no longer available, due to a copyright claim by the World Triathlon Corporation"......

Easy-peasy. Raise enough for Charity, & I'll do it. But for now, let's not disdtract from what that Dad did for his Son.

Wow. Just wow.

That is so moving, so touching, just one of the most amazing stories I have ever seen or heard.

I can't get over this. I've never seen anything like it.

Kev - to avoid spoiling, or overly impinging on Rook's Thread, perhaps you could split this bit off, (starting with, or after, Byron's Post) & start a new Thread?

Please credit Byron with the find, though.

I'm not sure if this had made my day, or ruined it. Sometimes we cry when we are not quite sure if we are sad or happy.

Team Hoyt rule.

Must have been tough for them at the start. He says he used to get letters from parents of other disabled parents who said wtf are you doing dragging your disabled son around in a race, they thought he was exploiting his son's condition for personal glory. For years they were running in races unofficially as the organizers didn't want them there.

YOU CAN

YOU CAN

So true.

There is so much "I can't" in life. This man said "I CAN, & I WILL".

He deserves a Sir-Hood. But he would not want it, he gets his own reward by doing it.
