Gotta send my work Lappie in for an upgrade. How do I get rid of the suggested search option from the google page. eg when I type in the letter B all the previous searches beginning with B come up? Gonna get bollocked for looking at gaming websites, no porn fortunately phew...

It's part of rules of the gag-off Woodsey, bolt and I must be on every thread.

There are three judges who record if a genuine gag has been made.
It works a little like Olympic boxing, if two of the three register a post as having been a gag, they click down their thumb on a button, and the relevant poster gets a point.

The poster with the most points wins the gag-off.

The probability of any of the judges falling victim to repetitive strain injury is low.

yeh how did u do it I got loadsa porn on my google search thing. Is there a way to sort the address bar aswell :-)

Go to Tools on the Tab bar...then click delete browsing history..then click delete history. Should sort you out!!

That deletes it from from browser bar of explorer.

What I'm on about is on some pcs when you do a search in google andtype in the first couple of letters it will show you the fulllist of all searches with those letters at the start. eg type a word beginning with BL at the start of it and it shows the full names of all words previously searched for with BL at the start. Handy if its your own laptop but not for a work one where your colleagues can see what you have searched for.

You clear it by Tools> internet options> content> click auto complete, then uncheck boxes you dont want it to auto complete on

Also if you start typing and the suggestions come up in the list below - arrow down to what you want to delete and just press the delete key when it is highlighted.

This is better if there are only a few specific search terms you want deleted and it generally works for all auto complete things.

Ah ty for that, thats suits me better.

Of course you only need to know this if you have things to hide, i'm so innocent i have nothing to hide.
