Title: PLO - Middle set on the flop Post by: EvilPie on October 23, 2008, 11:13:50 AM 2 2 live omaha. I'm sat with £300 oppo1 has £200, oppo2 about £110.
I'm sat with 9 9 A J (A is suited) on the button. It's 5 handed and gets potted up to £10 with everyone calling so £50 in the pot. Flop comes 9 10 4 with two suited cards not matching anything I've got. oppo1 pots it, oppo2 goes all in, I go all in and oppo1 calls. Turn comes another 9. I show my quads and oppo 1 is slightly sick on the table when showing his tens full. Question is should I have passed middle set seeing as it's omaha with 5 players in the pot? No reads on oppo1 as I've never played him before. oppo2 could have anything, we're not really bothered about him. Having two all ins in front of you i would normally fold, unless tilting.

I thought I was right. Just felt a bit guilty because of the 1 outer and wanted to make sure it was a cooler and not a bad call that hit. Flushy - Do you consider passing if 500 bbs deep? If not how deep would you need to be to consider it? I was BB, utg called, + 1 called, button potted to £12, everyone called so £60 in the pot. SB checks the flop. I lead out for £50, UTG goes all in for his £200 ish, other guy calls, I call last. Does the all in reraise from utg make much difference given the fact we're short stacked? It obviously would if we're sat with a few k each but here I still assume the call is ok.
