Well actually it's a lady golfer whom I firmly believe is destined to be the "Tiger Woods" of ladies' golf for the next decade.

Ji Yai Shin is a young Korean lady who has one of the finest golf swings that I have ever set eyes upon, and she also putts very well and has an excellent temperament. She won the Ladies' British Open at her first attempt this year.

This week the LPGA tour stop is "The Kolon Championship" which just so happens to be in her native land of Korea and I feel that she is a huge price @ 11/1 generally, especially as she has had the last couple of weeks off no doubt preparing to put on an especially good performance for her home fans.

She is favourite on Laddies at 7 to 1. Obviously you tipping this has affected the odds.  ;)

I am also looking at betting on her being leading money winner on the LPGA tour next year when she plays full time in the USA for the first time so please PM me if you know of or wish to lay any fancy prices(>33/1) about that.

A very nice result for those of us who kept faith with Ms. Shin, she shot a closing 67(-5) to win by six shots :)

The top eight after three rounds all start again off levels for the final round and the winner gets $1M.

I would expect her to be a very short price next week in Japan unless it has an all-star field including the likes of Ochoa, Creamer etc. which I would say is highly unlikely.

Next year as a rookie on the LPGA tour is when I forsee her becoming value again.

It's a LPGA of Japan tour event, probably not enough known international players in the field for UK bookmakers to bother with it.

Probably fortunate that UK bookies weren't interested in the Ricoh Cup...
