Title: shallow endgame line check Post by: AlexMartin on November 05, 2008, 01:44:56 AM mtt, $100r, last 16. Ave is 70k. Hero 80k, villain 70k. Blinds 1500/3000, no antes.
Hero opens 9h10h to 7500 from MP2. Villain, cutoff, flats. Flop KQh9. hero's image is clean, been semi-active but not been to showdown. table is playing kinda caged. Villain has been relatively in-line and hasnt been too active. Hero? Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: action man on November 05, 2008, 01:53:00 AM gets it in
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: NoflopsHomer on November 05, 2008, 01:54:11 AM Seems like a standard bet/fold to me - It's 1 heart, not two right?
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: Rookie (Rodney) on November 05, 2008, 04:26:47 AM 2 hearts on there I think.
Standard 13k continuation and snap jam/call jam from villain. Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: ChipRich on November 05, 2008, 04:35:26 AM Bet calling all day long (if its 2 hearts on flop)
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: Horneris on November 05, 2008, 05:48:25 AM 12,595 & call jam imo.
It clearly is 2 hearts. Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: AlexMartin on November 05, 2008, 10:07:02 AM lol, 1 heart
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: T_Mar on November 05, 2008, 11:25:39 AM Difficult to know what he flats your raise with given the stack sizes ?? It looks like AQ/AK that he doesn't want to commit pre, I wouldn't want to get it in here (obv different with 2 hearts on flop) ..I hate these spots cos check folding just seems mega weak but seeing him shove when you bet just makes you want to throw up...
I'm not sure what is best, and am interested to hear what more experinced players than me think Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: TheChipPrince on November 05, 2008, 11:29:14 AM I'm losing interest fast when this flop falls...
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: AgentChip109 on November 05, 2008, 12:03:02 PM bet fold or check fold to me. i know check folding seems super weak but sometimes u gotta do it. but also depends on the range of hands the guy will flat in position wiv

Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: Thekellster89 on November 05, 2008, 01:39:57 PM c/bet 10,000 , fold
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: GreekStein on November 05, 2008, 01:55:11 PM at first i thought this was 2 hearts. I bet and fold to reraise.
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: AlexMartin on November 05, 2008, 02:51:02 PM was chatting to zzzzz rope last night who said that i cant c/r shove coz his range has hit that board too hard. But i cant find many kings in his range (KQ and thats it?) and i find a lot of 1pair type hands. I just check/folded when he bet 14k, but i really think i shoulda craised in hindsight, stacks are perfect, only about 30% of his range has hit this flop hard and v like AQ we have 8 outs if called.
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: ZZZZZZZROPE on November 05, 2008, 04:38:23 PM i was pretty drunk at the time lol so cant really remember the whole story but i rember that i wouldnt he too pleased here with your holdings and the board, im a nit and get scared easily though lol :) im betting usually like 12500 and floding to any type of raise and basically shutting down to a flat
Title: Re: shallow endgame line check Post by: Gamblor21 on November 05, 2008, 11:21:30 PM I hate leading here, as i hate being outplayed. I probably check raise him here i think your spot on with your AQ read.
