Title: Parking Problems Post by: The Camel on November 07, 2008, 05:25:34 PM Two massive annoyances have irked me this week.. Both parking related.
Firstly, when you are in a pay and display car park and the fee is, say, 80p an hour. Why is beyond the wit of the guy who writes the program which issues the tickets to give you an hour and a quarter of parking when you put a pound in the machine. I can just about accept that the machine doesn't give change, but just to steal the extra 20p in the pound is maddening. Secondly, which bright spark decided that you have to pay to visit hospital car parks? I understand when the hospital is in a city centre that some bastards will abuse free parking while they are at work or doing the shopping. But, surely some system could be introdued so patients and vistors don't have to pay. It is greed beyond belief to charge to park there. End of rant. I feel 1% less angry now! Title: Re: Parking Problems Post by: tikay on November 07, 2008, 05:31:43 PM The revenue from Hossie Car Parks is actually a major revenue source for the NHS! Now, stop ranting, & get yourself off to Amsterdam. Blame the communist labour party scum for your and the countries ills. Had a free cinema ticket (2 4 1) for the Odeon in Brighton, but cost me more than the ticket to park. :D |
