With the year-end not far off, (so soon?) I thought we might do a "Thread of the Year" Poll.

Before we do, & assuming anyone is interested, can you name, on this Thread, your fave Threads on blonde in 2008?

If there's enough interest, & variety of nominations, we'll set up a Poll.

So many great threads, such a difficult choice. Tikay and Red have, as always, been thoroughly enjoying and so informative. It's what they do and don't they do it well. But for me the sheer bravery and honesty of the Reece thread, Tighty's ramblings and Snatty's endeavours would get my vote.

I sort of have my doubts about the Fergus thread, too. Black humour in places, I suppose.

It reminded me of when I was a kid, &, like many young lads, started to smoke, in secret, & wanted to hide it from Dad. So I smoked in the toilet, at home. He said (naturally) "you've been smoking in the karzy". "Nooooo Dad, honest" And I really thought I could get that through.

And the Fergus thread had parallels. It was as plain as the nose on my face he'd done everyone, & then his pals came to the rescue, "nooooo, he's just busy, he is straight, honest".  I never really worked out if his pals were in on it, or he just had them over, too. So I'm with snoops a bit here, I'm not totally sure I saw it as full-on funny. But it sure was full-on in-yer-face gall to come back on thread & be so arrogant & cheecky at what he'd done. He'll learn I guess, once puberty arrives.

As to Diaries in general, I stand corrected, thanks to Tank & Claw's intervention - what's it gotta do with me?

I love all the Diaries - Red's, Tight's, Snat's, Reece, Rookies Fantasy, Flushy, The Vegas Chezgar one, The Chompy Vegas Extravangaza - they are all "the best" in their own way, all different, all wonderful reads, & have improved blonde Forum immeasurably imo. But they are not "Threads" as such.

Tell you what - include what you want. You usually do. ;)

Geos thread, Rookies Greyhounds ... both good to follow.
