So the time has come, my 21st birthday was Saturday and the trip to Vegas begins now. Am currently at Shieldsy's and as soon as we have this introduction done for you all we will be playing some PES until the cab arrives at 6am in the morning. Also joining us two on the trip are Rosy and Noly. We leave Heathrow for LA at 11.15 in the morning, and then as soon as we land at LA we leave for Vegas for the last hour of the journey. To start this diary I am going to introduce you all to the people on this trip and provide a profile on each :)

Is there a poker room at the Riviera? Never used to be. It's about a half-hour walk to the Venetian from Circus Circus (bang opposite you).

 im terrible when any of my kids are travelling, i think of nothing else the whole time and certainly couldnt contemplate sleeping, silly i know but i doubt im alone.

So Monday morning finally came and we were on our way to Heathrow at 6.15am. We were flying with United Airlines at 11.15am. We got to the airport fine and checked in no problem. My bag was suprisingly just on the weight, as I thought for sure that I was going to receive a charge! Shieldsy's, being the self proclaimed tramp he is, had borrowed a suitcase from me, and the majority of his clothes came from his housemate!! Needless to say his suitcase weighed the least!

We got through security and it was soon time for breakfast. We went in the first place we saw, £8.95 for a full english. Not a good decision. I had plans to take a pic of it and put it on the fry up thread but I did not want to knock Amatay's awful effort off of bottom place. This would have done that for sure. Some of us ate it and some didnt, but none went to waste as we have Shieldsy with us, so its ok.

We wandered round to our gate after that, planning to stop in the arcades on the way. I couldn't believe it when we didn't pass one single arcade and when I asked I found out there is not one anywhere!!

When you walk round the airports there is always the travelator thingy. The one that is an escalator but flat and takes you a fair way without having to do any legwork - always nice. Well we get on those and Shieldsy by this time is getting a bit excited. He decides to do a "boogaloo" on the travelator (pictures below). Not only that but he decides to run around like a little girl for most of the journey through the terminal!

We got onto the plane without any problems and on time. The way the plane's seats were set out was 2 - 5 - 2, and we were in the group of 5. So some poor sole would have to endure our ridiculous jokes and such for over 10 hours. It was a rather attractive woman who sat down just after us. And obviously Shieldsy decided to make it known to her that he fancied her. When pretending to talk to me or Noly he would just say out loud "She comes from fittown", amongst other things. Thankfully she was either deaf or pretended to not to hear!

During the taxi round for takeoff we had started a group "boogaloo". And the lady has a little chuckle and starts chatting to us. She is quite nervous about flying as she normally takes pills but never got any before this flight. So obviously, we invite her into our boogaloo club, which will take place on takeoff. Fair play to her, she joins in and it was rather funny! We get talking when in the air and find out that she is from LA (where our flight is going to, before going to LV). She was in England because on Saturday night she was on TV. I can't remember what the programme was called but it was on inbetween Xfactor and the Xfactor results, it also had Manuel and Basil from Fawlty Towers. Her name was Hayley Carr and she is an actress.

When up in the air we laughed quite loud numerous times to the film step brothers, ate the food (which was the best plane food I have had on all my flights), and I also showed Hayley how to play Rummy!

She was very friendly and not intimidated at all by the 4 of us. And midway through the flight she suddenly got these psychic feelings and blurted them out! Some were very good, and also a little scary, and some were just her getting  bit carried away we think! Needless to say the fact that she managed to say Rosy's son's name begins with a J, and my sister's birthday is on the 27th of the month, without any hints, was a bit spooky. I thought we was on a candid camera show at one point!

Funniest thing on the plane was when Shieldsy was drinking his water, and was in a bit of a silly mood. He drunk most of it and then for some reason threw the rest over his face ! I had my water in my hand and couldnt help but finish the job by throwing my full glass all over him and soaking his tshirt through, so now he had to sleep wet!

Ah - that would be white wine. From the moment they served drinks we got the beers in and obviously bought her a drink every time. She had 5 of those bottles of white wine within the first couple hours before we got bored of drinking and sleep was the next thing to do.

No he never. He was sitting the furthest away from her. Rosy was sitting next to her for the first hour but me and him changed seats because the dickhead in front of me was laying on my lap practically and I had nowhere to put my legs. He only has small legs so we swapped.

The turbulence was the worst I have experienced when just starting to cross the Atlantic, and she got nervous on a couple of occasions and was holding my hand! She got some good pictures of us but I forgot to get her email so that we could get them off her.

When we got to LA it was a quick changeover of planes. The most worrying part of it was that we had to collect our bags and walked them round the corner before dropping them off. The guy misread Rosy's bag where it says "LAS". He put it in a pile to go to Alaska!! But luckily we heard him say it so he just replied.. "Oh shoot, I'll move that in a minute. That's not the first time i've done that!".

We had a Mcdonalds in LAX and we was then on the plane. Rosy had rushed ahead of us 3 in queue and we couldn't work out why, but it was because he wanted the 1 window seat out of the 4 of us. Noly wasn't best pleased when he had to sit on the other row with a couple of interesting ladies.

We got the boogaloo going again, just for luck and by the time we was in the air we were on our way down again. It was a quick flight and needed to be as we were all beginning to kick up a stink. The lights as we landed were amazing and we had suddenly woken up toward the end of this 20hr journey. We collected our bags and went outside to make our way to the airport.

We get outside and get in this stretched hummer limo and ask him to take us to the Riviera via the Welcome to Vegas sign. We take a few pics at the sign and get dropped off at the Riviera after seeing the bright lights of the strip along route.

We had finally arrived :)

Off out to a Beatles concert thing now, not sure i'll like it but the other 3 wanted to do it. I am a day behind at the mo, we are on the lash tonight (been at it all afternoon too). I will get up to date in the morning I hope, it's  been quite a rollercoaster already.

We are here for 12 nights in total.

Right then, where were we...

vegas?

N1 lads have a great time but how can you not....

Sorry this isn't up to date, it's harder than you think!

So, we got to the hotel on Monday night, and showered up and got changed for an evening wander. We walked from Riviera down to Ceaser's which took around half hour and I bought into the big tourney the next day. I turn 21 on the 15th, I arrive in Vegas on the 17th and I play my first tourney in Vegas, a $1060 Freezeout on the 18th. Brilliant.

Once I had bought in we all decided to call it a night and headed back to the Riviera, we jumped in a cab which worked out at $10 which isn't too bad. Wandered through the casino and me and Shieldsy got distracted by some 3 card poker so jumped on with $50 each and soon doubled it before coming off. We used this as an ideal excuse to order some room service when we got back to the room. I had a meat lovers extreme (4 eggs, bacon, sausage and ham) omellete, and also had a meat feast pizza. Shieldsy just ordered a Southern Fried Chicken Dinner. I ate my omellete and a couple of slices of pizza. Left it overnight and the pizza was good for Shieldsy's breakfast.

Tuesday morning get up around 11am and all 4 of us wander down to Ceasers where my comp starts at midday. That's about as good as it get's on the tournament front of things as after a couple of hours in I find my flopped set being turned over by a guy who played his flush draw so well, ([  ] ******88), and that was all she wrote. I left the tournament area of Ceasers and saw Rosy having a game of poker on the 1/3 table. He was about $50 up when we decided to go across to O'Sheas and meet up with Shieldsy and Noly.

On route me and Rosy got a brief lesson on the craps tables and decided to have a game in O'Sheas and won ourselves about $50 each which was quite fun. Craps is a very strange game and I don't understand it all. But the way the Yanks take just rolling a dice so seriously is worth the comedy value alone.

O'Sheas cardroom is about 3 tables big at the back and 2/3 cash tables at the front. There was a $45 comp starting which we all decided to play just for giggles, and we ended up donating 1/4 of the prize pool! Top 2 paid and I was out early doors, Rosy soon followed. Shieldsy and Noly made final (only 17 players), but when Shieldsy's 44 was no good for A3 he was gone. Despite Noly hitting the river against 4 different players for his tournament life he went on to bubble and was not happy. By this time I was cheering for the other guys to beat him as I had not eaten all day and it was now about 5pm.

The fun now begins. I know where the Outback is and we walk down the road to go to it, and on route through a casino (we can't remember which one), there is another steakhouse which looks quite nice. So we pop in the lift and up we go. All of a sudden we all feel pretty underdressed - two of us wearing baseball caps and hoody's in an environment of suits and ties would do that. We got our seats and immediately saw the mistake we had made. The prices were ridiculous, but we decided to stick it out and order food.

I ordered a 10oz Filet Mignon which came with no chips, sauce, nothing, just a lump of steak on a plate - $40. Noly, Shieldsy and Rosy all had another steak, a 16oz one with a bit of sauce - $44. Drinks were a couple of diet cokes, some Corona, and a couple of glasses of Red. Now was the time for the flip....

We had decided we would flip by rooms, so me and Shieldsy vs Noly and Rosy. Now this is the clever part, me and Shieldsy had this master plan. We flipped a coin between us and he called, he called wrong. He flipped a coin and I called, I called right. So, odds now say that Shieldy will get his next one right and I will get mine wrong no? Well thats how it worked anyway, Rosy flipped the crucial coin and Shieldsy called tails. There were a couple of fistpumps and high fives when we realised we had avoided the $250 bill.

The Red Wine Noly had must have been pretty strong, because he then became very annoying and just wanted to fight everyone and trip us over (as he does this alot when drunk).

We decided we was going to go back to our rooms now, and change and go to clubs. Good plan imo. Until we got back to the room and literally within 5 minutes the other 3 had collapsed on their bed's and fallen asleep. FML. Seriously who goes to Vegas to sleep, boring bastards. Anyway, so I decide i'm still gonna go out and decide to have a cash game.

Only game with a seat was 2/5 at Ceasers so I sat in with $500. The table was so soft but I couldn't get anything going and soon dusted off the first $500. I reloaded for $500 more and duly got it in on the flop, please don't ask me how he called me, with 88 on a K87 two heart flop. His hand was ATo, the Ace being a heart. GG once the heart heart binks in my eye. I'm off to bed tilting and its all because these lazy bastards fell asleep that I ended up playing this game. Great, $2k down already on the trip!

It's time for bed then and I make sure I wake every one of them up by banging about when I got back to the room. :(

Whilst taking these pictures me and Rosy had some dude come up to us trying to sell us tickets to strip clubs etc, as there are a few of these guys there. The convo went something along the lines of...

Him : "Hey guys I got complimentary passes to the strip clubs and nightclubs of Vegas if you want them?"

Me : "No thanks mate"

Him : "No thanks ?! How else you gonna get some women?? You gotta get some pussy man!"

Me : "We are gay mate, so no thanks"

Him : "Err it's ok, we have gay clubs too, don't you wanna have fun?"

Rosy : "We are gay and we don't like beer or fun"

At this point he finally got the message and just fell into laughter, basically berating us to his mates with him coz we are gay and dont do beer and fun. LOL. Seriously though, it's so annoying, you just can't really trust anyone I don't think.

Right, its now 6am Vegas time and we have been out all night. The other's are already asleep again and Shieldsy is snoring so bad atm.

I need some sleep and will update you of what we done last night/yesterday soon hopefully.

Want to update yesterday as it was the best day on a number of fronts but we are about to go to lunch and then play some poker. I will update it asap.

So yesterday.

We was up around 11am and deciding what to do was tough. We have a number of things we want to do in Vegas, such as, shooting, go karting and grand canyon etc. I found the karting website and we decided to go there, so we jumped in a cab and went to the karting place (google pole position raceway vegas). It was just opposite the Palms and when we got there we could see we was going to have fun.

It was all indoor and sounded good when we walked in. The karts looked cool and were electric, but zoomed around the track faster than you need! We had 3 races and it was a great laugh, the no bumping rules obviously were not followed and in the first race Shieldsy came off with the hump because I bumped him trying to get through. In the next Noly did the dirty and actually spun me on the hairpin bend, and later in that race Rosy tried the same but I somehow managed to hold him off 3 times. You get to choose your own racing name to go up on the bigscreen and whilst me Noly and Rosy just chose the obvious, Shieldsy wanted to be know as the SpeedScrote!

The way they do the results is just the fastest lap time over your 12 laps per race. So it really doesn't matter if you don't overtake anyway. The results were :

Once we finished the karting we decided to have a game of billiards in the arcade they had there. We then moved onto the other games, such as the basketball one that you see in most arcades and then we saw the American Football one. The object was to throw the mini balls into the holes, but we decided to make our own little games up and ran a few plays. They are tough to describe, so we got some videos to help you feel like you were there.......... :)

So once we had finished pissing about with the footballs we jumped in a cab and headed back to the strip and went to visit Luxor for the first time. We wandered round and found their poker room and asked if there were any seats and they was just about to open a $1/$2 table. So we all jumped on there, just for a bit of fun and to kill a few hours. We all sat with $200 and had a laugh. The best thing about it is that the drinks are free whilst playing, all you have to do is give like a $1 tip for every Vodka Redbull you have etc.

Obviously we all got a little drunk whilst playing, and I ran pretty good. I staked Shieldsy in the game but he never had no luck when he ran flush into flush and then lost his remainder with AK v 9T. Rosy was the next to be stacked soon after, he made a good call on the turn of a K T 3 3 board with KJ and lost to his opponents flush draw which got there. He decided to go for a wander and when he returned he was happily showing off his shoes which he had just got shined! Next to follow was Noly, who lost his chips to me on a 3 6 7 board my 67 beating his JJ.

I won a number of pot's off one guy though, completely owning him, and then a big one occured where he wanted to stack off with K8 on a 4 6 6 8 board. He raised pre and my 56 was good enough to call with, he then bet flop and I flat it once more, he bet $50 on the turn and I was having a think when he says.. "I'll show you if you pass". My eyes must have turned into $ signs then because its just so obvious he has a hand he is happy with. I made it $75 more and he snaps it and then when he checks the J river to me I put him in for his other $180 and he calls again. He is pictured below.

I came off the table with $1120 and got the odd $20 up to $100 on craps so I cashed in $1200. A nice $800 profit after my and Shieldsys buyin. We left the Luxor and wandered outside to jump in a cab, and get a bite to eat at the Riviera.

We lined our stomachs, me and Shieldsy with KFC and Rosy and Noly decided to try out some 'Cheese Steaks', which they regretted as soon as they bought them.

Rosy wanted to go watch a show of some sort, and particularly liked the idea of watching the beatles tribute band here at the Riviera called "The Fab Four". Tickets were only $25 each so we all bought them and got changed before the show started at 10. I didn't think I was going to like it too much, and the fact that they were only showing to about 30 of us in a big theatre didn't make me think they was going to be any good.

What a nice suprise it was though that they were absolutely awesome. Every part of them was identical to the beatles and they sung the songs brilliantly. We was all singing along and was all doing a dance at one point! They have their own website if you want to check them out, I would defo recommend seeing this show though if you come out.

We went straight from Riviera in a taxi down to Ceasers and was going to go to the nightclub there 'Pure'. Only to find that it was shut that night, sigh. So we asked the taxi driver to take us to another one and he said that the Palms is good so took us round there again. We walked into the Palms for the first time and it was very nice, wandered to the bar and I bought a round. $36 for 4 VRB, FML.

We was just sitting about in the slot's area deciding which nightclub a) we could get into and b) would be the best. So I decided to put $20 in a machine that looked like my favourite slot machine (but wasnt) Pharoah's Fortune. By pressing the wrong button's I lost $15 in two spins and with my next spin I actually got 50 free spins which was the most possible. By the end of the spins I had $450 and cashed that out with a big grin ;D

We decided to go into the Ghostbar which is up on the 55th floor. We got in no probs and soon found the place to be a sausage fest. The only girls in their were either barmaids (which were fit, pics to follow), or girlfriends. We bought one round, had a sit down and laugh, took a couple of pic's of the view and then went back downstairs to the casino. This is where it get's funny again. We are walking through the slots to go to the exit when I see a Pharoahs Fortune! Obv I had to stick $20 in just coz I like this one and got lucky on the other one earlier anyway.

I spun a couple times, and on about my 4th spin I got a bonus! And it just paid and paid, more free spins, followed by another bonus, and some more free spins. Within 10 minutes I cashed out, a cool $850. My ROI on slots is looking quite good. $40 in $1300 out. We jumped into a taxi and met the taxi driver called Vito. On route back to the Riviera he told us about all the strip clubs etc and gave us his number LOL. If you want free rides to the clubs call me, girls to your room, call me.

When we get into cabs they generally ask where we are from. The reply is always London, as nobody will know Luton, so there is no point trying to explain it. Anyway, Noly gets in the front this time, and the taxi driver doesn't let us down and asks where we are from. Noly's reply was, for some unknown reason, Luton, and there was a brief pause, so he followed it up with north of London. We all sighed in the back and was clearly wondering why he had said Luton, when the quick witted genius that is Rosy pipes up with "I'ts near dunstable". Me and Shieldsy were left in creases.

We finally got back to the Riviera after speaking to Don Corleone and taking a leaflet LOL. I had $1900 in my pocket and wanted to make it a round $2000 so changed up $100 on Craps. I 'passed' 5 times on the bounce so was up to $200 by the time Rosy arrived at the same table. We then had a mess around and it was his go at throwing the dice. I quickly grabbed a $5 chip and asked for hard 12. This means he has to throw a double 6 otherwise I lose, it's a 31 to 1 payout. Rosy then pauses before throwing the die and says, actually i'll have the same please, and throws his $5 on. He gives them a shake, launches them across the table, and boom, double 6. We both shouted yes and high fived each other it was so funny. The dealer's didn't know how the fuck we managed to time it so well but it was funny. I cashed out with $300 so had made over my target :) We went up to the rooms and called it a night, I am only down about $300 on trip now and that includes my Ceasers buyin. Wiiiiiiiiiiii

This man is my friend. I call him Pedro, he iron my clothes every day and I bung him $5.

We got up at about 2pm today and went down to the 24hr cafe. We was flipping for the bill again and I was still feeling good from last night, so I went all out with the food. I ordered some Frosties, a tea, a pepsi, a Steak and Eggs combo, with extra bacon and extra sausages, which also came with hash brown and toast. Shieldsy ordered the Chicken and Ribs combo. So it's fair to say we were fairly confident.

This time it was their turn to call. And the disorganisation between the two of them was evident to all. Their lack of team work and previous research that me and Shieldsy had to do before our big flip inevitably cost them big. Rosy said heads and Noly wanted tails, but when Rosy demanded it be heads we took his answer. It was obviously a tail and they forked the $100 bill. Me and Shieldsy threw in a high five too.

They have gone to the shopping mall and I decided to come back up to the room to get up to date with this, and also because I dont enjoy walking around on a full stomach. Tonight we will be going to Luxor for cash, at about 7, just so we can get pissed up cheap, then about 11pm we will wander to Ceasers nightclub Pure, and have a bit of fun their. I will try and get you a pic of the 'PussyCat Dolls' on travels too.

This guy below is amazing. He can paint pictures like this in 5 minutes flat. He uses spray paint and works at 100mph. They sell them for $39 each or two for $65 I think. Absolute bargain and I know that we will be picking up a few good ones before we go home.

The fountains at the Bellagio, show every half hour I think. Absolutely stunning and you just have to see them for yourself to appreciate it.

Guys I was out there with last autumn raved about The V Bar at The Venetian. I haven't been in a club since I was 20 odd (years old, not stone) but Pure and Ra seem popular.

Now, what you have all been waiting for, Thursday night.

Rosy came up with the plan that we go down to the card room in Riviera, play some cash, so that we can get free drinks. This was a good plan imo, only that Rosy actually ended up losing $750. So it was an expensive night for him! I was in for $600 at one point with only $150 on the table but got up to $750 by the time we was ready to go, which was about 12.30am. I also staked Shieldsy again and he won me $225 so was an ok start to the night.

We wandered to the road and flagged down a taxi, and off to Caesers we went. The nightclub is Pure, and we got in no prob's for $10 a head. We was obviously all already quite fucked by this point, myself especially though as I am not really a drinker but I was doing my best to keep up with the others. This was highlighted when we went into the club and I bought first round, then 3 mins later I had to down my drink because more were coming and Noly also said he was getting in shots. These shots turned out to be Jegarmeisters (sp?), and the biggest shots i've seen. Rosy disappeared for a moment when they came as he didnt want to drink his. But when Shieldsy downed his in one, I had to do the same, just so I could say "In your eye".

Rosy was then having fun chatting up a couple of birds. And he may have had a chance if it wasn't for me walking behind the other 3 when Rosy was talking to them and I poked them and said, i'll be in the toilet. I had to puke. I had never been this bad ever, but it had hit me, and I could barely see anything (or so it seems now). I went into the first cubicle and puked instantly. Puked again, and puked some more. I then didnt wanna move. I just leant with my back against the door and was ready to sleep.

Soon after the other 3 came in, and was all talking to me as they didn't want me to sleep! I don't remember alot tbh. I remember Rosy coming in and shouting that Shieldsy had won $1k on the video poker which was funny. Then I remember being sat on the floor and head in arms. And Rosy decided enough was enough and had to jump over from the next cubicle to actually get to me. The poor guy had to pick me up and him and Noly holding me either side while I just moved my legs with my eyes closed. We got to the taxi and Shieldsy was nowhere to be seen, so we had to leave him to make his own way!!

They got me back to the Riviera and on the way to the lift's I heard some yanks shouting "take him home, hes had too much" etc. All I remember then is just swearing at them whilst the other two were walking me away! I finally got to bed and just collapsed.

The next time I was conscious was when Shieldsy started shouting..

"Rooks, are you awake? are you awake? You better be, we have to leave otherwise Noly is gonna get done for assaulting a woman"....

So I arrived back at Riviera after winning $1k on the video poker whilst waiting for Rookie to reappear from the toilets. I gave Noly a ring and he said that him and Rosy were coming down to the casino floor to have a gamble. Soon after I was sitting on the blackjack tables thinking I was big dog with a dime in my pocket. gg $600.

We was still drinking whilst playing and when I hit a number on the roullete I pulled out a caterpillar much to everyone's amusement. Noly ordered a drink and the woman told us it was her first day on the job whilst Noly was trying to chat her up! He told me to watch how impressed she would be if he gave her a $10 tip and I just laughed. When she reappeared with his drink he tipped the woman, and she said she would get change for him. When Noly told her not to bother she let out a shocked Shriek and hugged him! I thought this was a bit over the top and looked at the note he had handed over and it was a $100 bill! I couldn't bring myself to asking the waitress to give it back and didn't mention it to Noly either! He still doesn't know now and will only find out when he reads this! So Noly, you are a mug!

We met two guys and a girl from Minessota at this point and got chatting. They took us over the road to a cheap late bar for more drinks. A couple of hours and a couple hundred drinks later and myself, Noly and Rosy were finding our way back across to the Riviera and just inside the door, before we had even got to a slot machine Noly had bundled me and Rosy to the floor. He had practically passed out on top of us too!

I managed to wiggle free and decided to make a run for it, only to look behind me and see a big ginger flash! I am not the quickest on my feet, but, unlike Noly, I still had my wits about me and decided my best way to escape would be not to run in a straight line, but run in and out of the slots slowing Noly down in the process. This plan was working well and almost instantly Noly hit the floor after running straight into a slot machine! Much to my amazement he dusted himself off and continued and soon after went flying over a chair! Again he dusted himself off and up he got! FFS what was it going to take to get rid of him!

It was soon to be third time unlucky for Noly when he ran into a woman sitting innocently on a slot machine. When I say run into, what I actually mean is brushed past. We thought nothing of it and me and Rosy decided to go and have some breakfast in the cafe on site. We had ordered our food when a security guard came up and asked us if we were looking for our friend and told us he was currently sprawled on the floor covered in rubbish after running into a garbage can!

Me and Rosy thought we best go get him and walked round the corner only to see Noly signing a form and showing his ID to these guards.. We found out that said slot machine woman had gone crazy and wanted to sue Noly for assault! Luckily the hotel had calmed the woman down at this point and got her to agree that if he was banned from Riviera for life she wouldn't sue. My arguement with the Morgan Freeman lookalike security guard was halted when he pulled back his jacket to reveal his 'piece'. This could have been a potato gun for all I new, but potato or bullet I wasn't in the mood to have either shot at me so just had to resign to the fact that we would have to leave.

Noly got escorted up by Morgan Freeman and another security guard and they watched him pack before walking him to the lift. Me and Rosy were following along and figuring out what was best to do. We got to the Riviera door and me and Rosy turned our backs for one moment only to find Noly had grabbed his suitcase and decided to start wandering to downtown!! Luckily when we caught up with him two construction guys had stopped him and were talking to him, we decided that the best thing to do was get him a room in Circus Circus for the day/night and decide what to do the following day.

I took Noly to the Circus Cafe while Rosy went to sort the room out. Luckily for me Noly had fallen asleep by the time the food had arrived so I had two breakfasts :) mmmm.. Rosy reappeared about an hour or so later and we grabbed Noly and took him to the 29th floor room and dropped him in the bed! I decided to stay in the other bed in the room for that day just to make sure he didn't run off.

This didn't really happen as when I woke up to Rosy and Rooks coming into the room, Noly told us how he had got up at some point and got the lift to the bottom floor, not knowing where he was, and not putting any shoes on, he walked around Circus Circus with dried vomit over his face!!

Noly kept telling us how he had ruined the holiday when he was being thrown out. But far from it, he has surely provided the highlight!

I vote for Shielsdy to get ANOTHER bed bath and to then be chained to the laptop in order to give us a complete and full update on proceedings. The fact that he has left us hanging for so long means that breakfast should also be witheld until he completes his task.

Friday was a wasted day tbh. After Thursday's fun and games everyone was feeling it and we were in bed all afternoon. At about 6pm me, Shieldsy and Rosy went and played cash in the Riviera whilst Noly stayed in bed until Saturday morning.

At about 1am we decided to stand up and go to the Peppermill. I had come off $150 up, Shieldsy had also won me another $100 and Rosy had got back some of his losses from the previous night and come off $300 up. We had yet another steak each, about the 3rd in about 5 days, and it was the 3rd time Shieldsy had to send his back because it was undercooked. He is funny, he eats absolutely anything, as much as he can, because he is fat. But he will not eat a steak that is slightly red, he will just disappear to the toilet and puke if he see's any blood on one. He has to ask them to cremate it.

After the peppermill we decided to call it a night, Rosy joined Noly over at Circus Circus while me and Shieldsy now have a room each in the Riviera, which means no more snoring!

So onto Saturday. We new the Hatton fight was on while we were out here and were just going to go and watch it at a bar or something. We went for a meal in the afternoon at Mandalay Bay and after Shieldsy had finished doing his boogaloo's at the window (pictured), we decided to go wander round to the MGM to see if there were any tickets still available for the fight cheap.

It was about 5pm and the Hatton fight was scheduled to start at 8. We got to the ticket office and they had seats everywhere available still! We just took the cheapest, $165, and was just looking forward to watching it and being a part of the atmosphere! We rushed back to the Riviera, got showered and changed and left for the Hatton fight, planning to go drinking and onto clubs after he had hopefully won.

When we got to the fight and got through the metal detector's and security of the MGM, all you could hear were the chants of England/Hatton fans. It was brilliant. All of a sudden a brass band came marching past us, about 8 people all wearing t-shirts with "Ricky Hatton's official band". The guy is so good that he has 8 people just playing his tunes wherever he goes! Brilliant.

Needless to say, the atmosphere was awesome. We got to our seats just as the previous fight was coming to a close and soon the introductions of the players were being made. It was English people everywhere, booing Magnaggi, cheering Hatton, he is a god to these people! They travelled out for one thing, to see him fight thats it! Unbelievable.

When we came out of the fight we noticed that Copperfield was showing at the MGM too, and I told the lads that we should get tickets to see him, as when I saw him last year he was absolutely unbelievable. We decided we would get some tickets another day and wandered around for a bit. We didn't do as planned and go out to clubs as Noly and Rosy called it an early night after we had hit the piano bar at New York New York.

Me and Shieldsy then took it upon ourselves to go on a casino crawl and returned home several hours later after going into almost every casino on the way back from New York New York to Riviera and having a gamble. We got most distracted in Planet Hollywood though with the pole dancers they had on there! We didn't lose too much money considering, I think we lost about $50 each. Not bad really!

We had a Mcdonalds before falling asleep wondering what the next chapter of this trip would be...

Well come home then, & write a Diary about the fun, frolics, & boogaloo-ing & nightlife in Luton.

On sunday we decided we would go out and have a few drinks and see what was happening to make up for the early saturday night. We went to the fashion show mall on the strip during the day and I only went for the trip and obviously ended up spending more than anyone. I bought 2 new shirts, 2 new Jeans, 1 new pair of trainers and 1 new pair of shoes. Obv I didn't need these but when I go shopping I have to buy something. Normally trainers, I own about 10 pairs mostly unworn, so obv needed this other pair...

At the mall Rosy and Shieldsy both had haircuts while me and Noly went and got a massage. He come off hurting but didn't say anything during it as he didn't want to give in to a girl! lol. Shieldsy's haircut didnt go as expected when the woman cut his sideburns off immediately, meaning that he would have to have a clean shave as opposed to going for the 'stubble' look.

Once we had all got back and got ready to go out, we decided to hit Luxor for a cash game to get the early drinks in cheap, and then went onto New York New York followed by Planet Hollywood. Nothing major happened and we wasn't really getting drunk tbh, but we jumped in a cab and didn't know where we was going to go, when he suggested a strip club (obv), so off to Sapphire's we went...

I have to admit, i've never been to a strip club before, and I dont know about the others either. It cost us $30 to get in and $30 for a dance (unless you were Noly where it cost $50). We walked in and had our free drinks (thanks to the taxi driver). And before we had even got out of the bar area there were girls all over us. I am quite picky, and Rosy too, so I wasn't going to go with the first bird that put herself on my arm. Shieldsy on the other hand.... He was gone with a Thai bird before he had a chance to sip his drink, and soon after Noly too. They both reappeared though soon after, although it was pretty funny how easily led Shieldsy could be! We wasn't in there too long, an hour at the max I would imagine, before we got in a cab and headed to Circus Circus.

Out we got and said goodnight to the rebel and Rosy before me and Shieldsy headed back to Riviera to play the next couple hours on the slots before retiring to bed!

When we asked the taxi driver on Sunday night, which nights were best for nightclubs, he told us Saturdays and Mondays. So Monday we were obviously going to go out again.

In the afternoon though we walked to the Stratosphere to go on the rides which I told the other 3 they would all shit thereselves on, but they didn't believe me.. Soon we were 900ft+ in the air and about to go over the edge of the building. They then believed me!!

Shieldsy hates heights (as do I) and the other two said they would be fine. The first one we went on was the one that goes over the edge and spins for what seems forever! The seats are in two's and when I sat down on one, Rosy went to sit on another one, but changed his mind and sat next to me. The reason for this was because he didnt wanna sit next to Shieldsy because of his weight on the ride! We all survived this one, but the one who came off looking worse for it was Rosy. Shieldsy even found the courage to bounce up and down during the ride at one point, scaring the shit out of us and everyone else on it!

We then moved onto the next ride... I can't remember the names of them but this one basically just goes up high, and slides forward as though you are falling off the Stratosphere. This was the one I was least looking forward to. When I came last year me and Ling were the only two on this ride and had no clue what to expect, it scared the shit outta me. Rosy wanted to go at the front so he did. He soon screamed like a girl (as did the rest of us), and it was funny to watch i'm sure!

The ride we thought would be the easiest was last on the list. The one that just shoots up in the air and drops you back down. Like the one they have at blackpool i think. Only difference being is that you are already 900ft up in the air before being shot up to 1000+ ft high. We got on and was joking around when it went off, and jeeeeeeesus did it take off! When it gets up it just drops, as though nothing is holding it and your stomach just stays at the top! It was so funny, and deffo the best ride as far as us 4 were concerned for entertainment.

Once we had done this one we got a few good pics at the top of the Stratosphere and I bought a keyring of the picture on the last ride, which shows 4 completely different reactions to the situation! I also bought the picture of me and Rosy going round the first ride.

So onto Monday night. We headed to the Luxor again to play some poker to get drunk cheap. It sounds silly to do this but we normally get there about 8pm and leave about 11.30pm drunk for the cost of $1 a drink. If we were to buy these drinks in bars it is $10 a drink generally. We went to New York New York and headed to the Coyote Ugly bar. We all were tipsy but still had our wits about us, but then it hit Shieldsy hard and he went from tipsy to langered in a couple of minutes. This is the best because Shieldsy is absolute comedy when he has been on the beers and he wasn't disappointing tonight.

I took a few video's but sadly none of them came out well because it was too dark in the bars. One was even of him doing the caterpillar, which is quite funny to see! You guys will have to beg him to show you at the next Blonde Bash night out imo. Shieldsy was doing his wierd assortment of dances, such as stretching, monkey dance, boogaloo, robot etc when some guy took a disliking to him showing off. The guy did the universal nobhead sign to him and Shieldsy just walked past him and said "Yes you are mate" and we all giggled. The fella was with a few of his mates too, and Rosy, probably with his wits about him more than any of us, decided to make a retreat and walked out the bar knowing we would have to follow him. Booooo, Shieldsy was in the mood for rucktown. It would have made this diary entry much better imo.

We went from Coyote's to Planet Hollywoods 'Prive'. This place is very good and some top totty in there too. Shieldsy of course took the floor more than most and was just about to make his move with a bird in there when some geek with a painted white face and wierd clothes beat him to it! I had to talk Shieldsy round from going and punching the freak! At this point Shieldsy cleverly decided he wanted no more drinks otherwise he would be round the toilet bowl. And after a couple hours in the club we got in a taxi and went back to the Riviera. Rosy and Noly went across the road to Circus and wished me luck with a loud drunk Shieldsy on my arm!

Shieldsy was ok though. Funny and loud, but harmless. We went to the little shop that sells cookies and cakes and he was winding the woman up behind the counter by just asking what every cake was, and then going back and asking again. She didn't know whether he was joking or serious so just carried on answering! He ordered a cappucino too and she had the last laugh when Shieldsy let out an almighty scream when he burnt his mouth on his first sip! We just had a gamble for a while, looking like pigs scoffing out Pringles and M & M's at the machines before leaving all our rubbish and heading upstairs. This was our 2nd best nightclub night out of the trip, only behind to 'that' night.

go to luxor, 1/2 is sickly soft, and you have to meet the dealer 'don'.

He must be the funniest dealer in vegas and had us in stitches a number of times with random quotes, like the couple in my sig.

Sickly soft is an understatement! My fave poker moment was the fella who raised $15 'blind' utg having already mucked his cards and had two people fold behind him!

So, he returned for Day Two of the Thursday Luton Fessie Comp, as marginal second-chip, he & Mr Chip Daddy had 96k-ish each.

And then.....

....his J-J was bested by the quietly spoken Dominic Kay's A-Q in a 90k pot, so Rookie tapped the Table & said "nice catch mate, well played". Or words to that effect.....

Next, our Hero's A-8 got turned over improbably by A-4.
