I think that's right anyway! I popped up and paid in cash last weekend.

Authority & Discipline? Craig & Fordy have got it spot on, we don't get headmasters Lectures, decisions are made quickly, firmly, & with a smile. Rulings? Ditto. Innovations? All the time. Car Parking? Free & safe. Atmo? Perfect. Smoking? Too much, I am afraid. I am a smoker, but it has to be said, the smoking at Sheffield is awful. Room to move about? No! 11 or 12 to a table is TOO MANY. 10 at the VERY max please, & a little more room to get in or out of your seat. Senior Management? Friendly, & not at all aloof. They wander in during the evening, & chat to the players. Response to suggestions? Excellent. Wednesday? Doubtful, which is a shame, I'd love to hook up with you & say Hi. But it's 425 day. If I catch the 6.25 from St Pancras to Sheffield, that would be too late. If I could get the 17.40, I could make it, but it would be about 8.45 into Sheffield, so no guarantee of a seat being available for the comp. So possible but looking unlikely...... I'll take a rain check, maybe ring Craig & see what time it starts, & how many seats are sold. Guess it depends how early we get 425 finished. Expecting a big postbag this week...... It's logistics, pure & simple. If I can get finished with 425 in time to catch a train early enough, I will be in Sheffield. My car will be at Derby Railway Station, & I will find a way to get a lift back to Derby from Sheffield easy enough. It's getting from London to Sheffield in time that's the problem.
