If you're not checking the turn to trap then why? you crush so much of his range here it's really a no deccission. Your title gives a bit of an insight into your thinking, not sure how you can really miss a flop with AA? it's the top made hand pre and where other will improve post flop you'll most of the time still have 1 pair here and the times you flop top set you get no real action if the board hasnt paird by the river the only way you'll be playing a big pot is when you're getting all your money in against a str8 or flush that you let catch up because you couldnt believe your luck at flopping a set of aces. If he has a set(or even ugly q9) then ul gg, but you should NOT be checking the turn here UNLESS you're trapping but at this level theres no need to get tricky, jut keep firing. folding would be hughley -EV here also prolly make it something like $1.60 to go pre Title: Re: AA missed flop.... Thanks bolt - I'm slowly improving, I played this hand badly, but the good thing about betfair is that i'll save the outcome for now Title: Re: AA missed flop.... I shoved he called and showed Qs Jd The scary - fishy - thing is, that I could have folded to that bet on the turn. i got away with this one - and I learnt some more from you guys. Thanks Title: Re: AA missed flop....
