Omaha hi-lo split is known as Omaha8 (or PLO8 if you're really trendy like ironystein) The best low hand (that gets half the pot) needs to be 8-high or lower to qualify. 8c 7h 6s 3d Ahrt would be a legitimate low hand 9c 7c 6s 3c 2s is not a legitimate low hand.
