Title: PLO8 bubble question
Post by: Ironside on December 01, 2008, 06:42:48 AM
table full of nits thus average stack is about 5bbs
you see a free bb then the sb leads outs
you have a weak low draw and an open ended draw for high
with stacks so shallow is it worth taking a punt

Omaha hi-lo split is known as Omaha8 (or PLO8 if you're really trendy like ironystein)
The best low hand (that gets half the pot) needs to be 8-high or lower to qualify.

 8c 7h 6s 3d Ahrt
would be a legitimate low hand

 9c 7c 6s 3c 2s

is not a legitimate low hand.
