Arsenal are misfiring badly just now

As a Liverpool fan I truly have no idea what will happen today.  We haven't been playing badly, but have let the 'smaller' sides off the hook through poor attacking play.  With Torres and Mascherano in the side, I'd feel a lot more confident.  I know we beat Chelsea and Manu without Torres, and I hope we can raise our game against Arsenal.

No Rafa at the match either, as he's still suffering from his kidney stones.

I've got to disagree about Dossena. Going forwards he's been from good to very good in a few recent games (note few and recent lol). The defensive side of being a full back you can learn, unlike being a centre half. He'll be ok.

Andy Gray is tactically the worst commentator/pundit on television with maybe the exception of Paul Merson. How he is Sky's marquee analysis man I will never know.

Dossena would be a fairly decent left-half, but as a defender his positional sense is woeful.

He can go forward and cross as well as Dossena, but he can also defend.  19 years old, so he's going to improve as well.

Oh yes, Agger is quality.  It's funny, when Skrtel was playing alongside Carragher earlier in the season, Agger couldn't get into the side.  Skrtel's injury gave him a chance to re-establish himself.  He didn't grab this opportunity (for whatever reason).  However, he's getting back to form now and is a very decent centre back - comfortable with the ball and bringing it forward out of defence.  He also has a hell of a shot on him as well.

I think there have been problems off the pitch with him getting mixed up with the wrong crowd and  various other rumours.

The thing is with Arsenal's sending off, it actually galvanised the team to working harder, and thats what Liverpool couldn't break down.. but also to be fair 11 v 11 Liverpool were on top..just, for them, its disappointing they couldn't continue that 11 v 10.

Just my 2p worth about Dossena playing for Liverpool , he is Fcking rubbish(against Hull he was even worse than rubbish) , i would deffo have Aurelio or Insua in ahead of him every day of the week

He's had an awful start, but you dont play LB for Italy without doing something right, at some point.  All 3 LB's are sub-standard for a top 4 team, never mind a team at the top.

Aurelio is a good player when fit. He has an excellent shot and cross and as in the Champions League quarters with Arsenal last season he's defensively sound. He is just NEVER fit.

Insua looked very good again yesterday both in attack and defence.
