Local horse.  He's strong.  2 wins and a 2nd in his last 3 races.  He's at 25/1 in our local Paddy Power, not sure what price on the net as I haven't checked yet.  Worth a wee each way Lads.  2:25 race at Leopardstown and Baltiman is his name.  Good luck!

If I was having one football bet today it would Harrogate Town at home to Farsely Celtic, 9/10 in most places. They have a 7-1-1 home record, are 4th in the table, and Farsley have only won 2 away game from 7 so far.  9/10 is massive here, throw them into a couple of trebles, you wont be disappointed...

Newcastle 5/2
Blackburn 5/2
Double

Also Hull are 4/1 to beat Man City which is a stupid price so i'm involved with that on a few trebles and doubles.

Phil Brown is a legend

1554: That is the most remarkable thing I have ever seen during the interval at a football match. Phil Brown led his Hull players to their away support and after applauding the fans, he sits the players down on the ground and gives them an almighty rollocking. After five minutes, he tells them to go back to the dressing-room. They look utterly humbled. They should be. They were absolutely shocking in that 45 minutes.

Just as well I can only lip read a little on Soccer Saturday!

you dont think that could backfire and undermine the players? they're not kids.

I'd probably be embarrassed if i was one of the players and think that if he feels he had to do this we mustve been pretty poor and i'd want to fix up but i'm not sure he'll get the same reaction from his players.

maybe not. My first reaction was that it was quite funny and gutsy. Seems to have recieved a pretty mixed reception from pundits though

They won 1-0.  Also had Stevenage in several trebles with them @ 7/5, and a double which worked out very nicely...
