I think its probably going to come out eventually that he was barely involved at all for that reason, Gerrard is waaaaaay too aware of his image to have done much wrong imo (Now if it was Rooney, that's a different matter) - most likely scenario for me is that one of his mates got in some argie-bargie (is that how you spell it?) and some scouser saw the opportunity to run head first into Gerrards static fist with the intention of suing him. I'm not a United Fan, they were a bit of a one man team too last year at times (though not this year, Ronaldo has been shit). I said the comment as a joke yesterday but now I'm starting to think that if this gets drawn out, it will genuinely balls up the season for Liverpool. Time will tell. Gerrard is in the club with some friends, and the DJ says something insulting about his wife and kids. This leads to Gerrard shoving the DJ and then one (or two) of his mates were the ones that did the actual damage that put the guy in hospital. All three are up for ABH (which I believe is a lesser offence than GBH, and I would have thought that GBH would be the charge for glassing someone in the face - but I'm no lawyer). They have been charged and bailed and are set to appear at North Sefton Magistrates' Court on 23 January, accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and affray.
