Title: Bullets Post by: snoopy1239 on January 10, 2009, 06:50:39 AM Online 6-h £0.5/1 nlh.
Hero and villain both have around £140. Villain is regular player, usual TAG tendencies I raise to £4.50 from mid pos with Ac Ad. He flat calls on the button. Flop = Qs Jd 4c I bet £8.50. He calls. Turn = 2c I bet £22, he raises to £54... This. Title: Re: Bullets Post by: MC on January 10, 2009, 12:10:57 PM Not too many hands he can have beat you here. Pretty much 44 and QJ. Lots of KQ, JTclubs, kinda hands that you beat.
This is a shove for me... Title: Re: Bullets Post by: LeedsRhodesy on January 10, 2009, 12:24:09 PM Tc Kc?????

call turn call river is probs what id do but can see folding being reasonable if hes like a standard multi tabling reg since his value range is literally sets and QJ Title: Re: Bullets Post by: pokerfan on January 11, 2009, 02:30:52 AM 2 against 2 u may have to think for a second. 1.4v1.4 wtf
Title: Re: Bullets Post by: AlexMartin on January 11, 2009, 03:37:34 AM deffo shove for protection/value. He prob turned some combodraw, only 1 set out there if he is TAG given your pre betsize. I dislike c/c as then we have to play guessing games on the river and there a re myriad of hands he can have where on the river it will be unclear if he is vbetting or bluffing. Looks like he had KQcc/K10cc and is semi-ing the turn. If the board wasnt so clearcut this would be a tough spot w an overpair.

Title: Re: Bullets Post by: DaveShoelace on January 12, 2009, 09:04:45 AM Ship it in, obviously he had JQ for you to be posting it in PHA, but he never has JJ or QQ here so he has 44/JQ now and then but most of the time we are well ahead, prob some combo draw as Alex says.
Title: Re: Bullets Post by: noble1 on January 12, 2009, 05:02:39 PM easy fold - if villain is even just 1/2 sharp after your flop+turn bet even if he puts you on AQ he obviously thinks he has that beat...Any history between you guys snoopy that might explain is line and that he'd play AQ himself like this?
Title: Re: Bullets Post by: snoopy1239 on January 13, 2009, 02:13:05 AM I flat-called. River came 6c and we both checked. After some thought, he checked and flipped Qc Qd.

Oh yeah it is pretty awful check imo, gotta stick in a value bet on the river if you are villian. Title: Re: Bullets Post by: MC on January 14, 2009, 09:44:05 PM I flat-called. River came 6c and we both checked. After some thought, he checked and flipped Qc Qd. Coldness, at least villain let you off cheaply! Title: Re: Bullets Post by: snoopy1239 on January 15, 2009, 04:10:57 AM Yeah, couldn't believe he checked. I must have a rep for check-raising rivers with the nuts.
