Title: Left side of the brain v right side Post by: WarBwastard on January 12, 2009, 06:12:05 AM For most people this woman should be spinning anti-clockwise, but if you concentrate you can get her to spin clockwise.

She was always spinning clockwise but some people see it as anti clockwise because we were told that's what she was doing. Or I may be wrong. Title: Re: Left side of the brain v right side Post by: Jon MW on January 12, 2009, 09:50:42 AM Still need to know the interpretation

She only ever spins clockwise for me no matter what. I can't possibly imagine how anybody could see her going the other way. Title: Re: Left side of the brain v right side Post by: WYSINWYG on January 12, 2009, 02:17:20 PM It is possible to change which side of the brain some of the processing of the image is carried out in. If you move your head well over to the left of your monitor, the image is to your right, and is therefore mostly processed in the left hand side of your brain. This side of the brain contains areas responsible for understanding what the image is.
The rest of the right/left stuff on the link is bullshit. Just gone back to it again and the devious cow has started going the other way. I'm now paranoid that the picture has been changed just to do my head in!! Just watched her for about 3 mins and she was anti-clockwise all the way. Does 34 frames = 34 spins (or are you going to come up with some other techno-gobbledy explanation that will get me asking more dumb questions)? Title: Re: Left side of the brain v right side Post by: cia260895 on January 12, 2009, 04:02:24 PM I seem to be able to change her just by blinking just changed her about 20 times non stop..
try blinking hard when her leg is full to the left and then when fully to the right Title: Re: Left side of the brain v right side Post by: kinboshi on January 12, 2009, 04:06:30 PM Looked at this earlier and she was moving clockwise, and I couldn't see it the other way no matter how hard I tried. The image is 34-frames (I mentioned that in the previous thread about this) - and each frame is 0.03 seconds long. Just like frames on a film. So it takes about 1 second for her to 'rotate', and then the frames just loop again. |
