Have you never used an inappropriate term as a youngster to describe someone from another nation, another religion, another race, or someone who is different from you in some other way? I don't condone what he's said, it was very stupid, but how many of us can honestly say (especially at a similar age to when he made these comments) we haven't inappropriately used a derogatory term of some kind when talking about someone in a different social group? He deserves the slap on the wrist he will get over this but I suspect he will be genuinely embarrassed by the release of this footage and will regret making the comments he made.
