After reading the notts corruption post it got me thinking about what id do if i thought players were colluding and slow-playing? If i made a challenge on them would they become aggressive? I can be aggressive myself but if i gave it back, could it end in violence?
My boyfriend was playing ;tracet; a live game and he told me that a woman that was obviously cocaine fuelled, ,was cursing and swearing at all the players telling them to hurry and what to do with their chips etc. she was on the verge of hitting someone. if i told her to shut the feck up, would she hit me> lol

has anyone seen these verbal exchanges turn to violence either during or after the game?

The worse I have seen is a minor scuffle in a self dealt cash game at the gutshot.

Nobody was hurt, the aggressor backed down before anything stronger than a push was exchanged.

Still, it was enough for me to make a mental note not to play in strange self dealt cash games.

I'm sure others have juicier stories

I once saw a drunk guy get very abusive at Binions in a cash game, the sight of the guards handcuffing him and dragging him away was certainly a new experience :D

i was at a table in the £50 re-buy in the riverboat and it all kicked off

i thought it was very funny and didnt put me off but some players found it upsetting
and said it spoilt there game totaly

was also told it was the first time anything like that had happened there
by the manageress who ive known since we was teenagers
she said it was me that brought her bad luck  :D

but i dont know of anything else that has happened in any other place

I have been guilty of this once, I don't think i would do it again, but you never know.

BTW.. I am in no way ashamed of this..RUBDOWNS are a huge NO NO in my book, something i would never dream of doing to anyone...if some smart arse has to rub something in, well for every action there is a reaction
you never know what it might be, so don't give out rubdowns, you might not like the reaction...

i have to say i have never seen a rubdown, though with my temperament i doubt i could walk away.

I was involved in a small set to in a home game, I was the only sober one at the table and I was dealing, One guy had aces and slow played them and made a boat and I had the quads, He accused me of cheating, and threw chips at me.

I am a very honest player and I took great offence at this and I put him on his arse!!.

That was it really, I play fair and he was out played, mind you once he found his legs again he played on but never called me a cheat again.

I don't remember a rubdown being directed at me.  I've had plenty of verbal abuse though.

Hardly a day goes by without somebody getting 'tasty' on-line and throwing insults around.

It really doesn't bother me, infact I quite like it when abuse starts flying as I've obviously gotten to my opponent.   :D

I don't do violence and I would report any assault no matter how minor.

I've got a home game tonight, a few of the guys can become quite vocal, I have the perfect remedy for this, a friend called Big Stu who takes the money and does the bar. 6'4, 17 stone and bears an uncanny resemblence to a silver-back gorilla. Keeps them quiet in the cheap seats.......lol

I was playing in the 50 quid Freezeout in Southampton Grosvenor last sunday - it was near the bubble when suddenly we heard a commotion on another table.

Apparently a guy flopped the nut flush and bet it strong.  A guy check/called with top pair 10 kicker.  Turn came a 5 to pair the board when the caller went all in.  The flush guy called and the river came a 5 to give the guy with the top pair runner runner full house.

Cue madness as the guy who lost went absolutely crazy - effing and blinding making a right scene, and seriously embarrasing this other guy.  He then threw the rest of his stack at him and said if you want them that badly have these as well!

The thing was they were short staffed at the casino and no staff saw it and didnt take any action.

But, they run a bad beat jackpot there for the sunday freezeout and the winner so far was an ace high straight.  If he had told the staff he would have won the 150 quid jackpot that night with his ace high flush!

i've seen a four man brawl break out in stanleys in stoke over a £150 pot. At 1st it was funny but they were really knocking lumps out of each other. Stokie's and booze, an explosive mix.

had a notorious stokie player (all u midlanders will know who i mean!) try it on with me at stoke a few months back and he ended up smelling like he pood his pants - the joys of being 6'3 and fat (my mum says big boned).

generally, i have found, when you stand up to someone who is calling you or rubbing it in, they are not brave enough and back down (on the 3 occasions its happened to me).

So cannon and ball will really stir it up in Im a celeb? :D :D

Worst i have seen was in a £50 freezeout in Leeds. Last four people (including myself) small stack on 10K, had been playing solid all game, gos all in, im on SB 4k, I fold, BB who is on about 13K calls, other guy folds.

I could not believe it, the guy went berserk and threw a punch then all hell broke lose with his mates. Eventually security ejected several people and it calmed down. The thing is it really put me off playing I could not get the call out of my head and it really effected my game, finishing 3rd.
