Title: APAT Walsall SEAT AVAILABLE
Post by: Colchester Kev on January 16, 2009, 04:59:24 PM
On Tuesday 20th January 8.30pm, blondepoker will be running a $12 NLHE comp with an added prize of a seat for the Walsall APAT event.

This comp is open to ANYONE who wishes to play it, the added prize will be awarded to the comp winner, if the winner already has a seat He/She may exchange/sell the seat ONLY IN ACCORDANCE with APAT rules (these can be found on the APAT forum under "seat exchange")

The walsall event is sold out, this is your last chance to guarantee a seat.

Thanks to APAT for the seat which was won by blonde in the "Forum of the year" poll in which blonde was voted in first place by the APAT members.

Please do not spam this comp on any other forums.  I will do that myself.

To download the blonde cardroom click http://online.blondepoker.com/

Don't forget this game tomorrow, The demand for seats on the APAT forum is overwhelming ... even if you cannot make the APAT event, you will be able to sell your seat (at face value) on the APAT forum... people on there are offering the £75 AND a % of themselves !!

I hope we will get some good support for this comp.

just out of interest, if we win a seat and already have one, do we have to sell the second one via the seat exchange, or can we sell it privately?

Those t and c's don't seem to imply that you need to post it on the seat exchange board itself rather the seat exchange board is a way to make initial contact between buyers and sellers.

If this isn't needed then I don't see the need for posting on the board especially as anybody could just agree a sale in private and post on the board to cover this criteria if it is necessary.

Clarification?
Is this the case?

What's the start time?

I have kinda gave up online poker but if i can make the start time (got some business to attend to 2moro evening) then i will consider a one off deposit to play this.

If i am unsuccessful or i miss out i am hoping some nice person (if they have a seat/dont want to play it) will sell me the seat.

Cheers

It certainly is only available on the blonde skin.  Why would blonde offer the seat up for nothing, and then allow people to play on another skin?

play if you like, and go to the APAT Seat Exhange board after when you win. You can sell for face value and some aplicants are offering a percentage share if they get a seat.

what happens if u already have a seat?

You get another seat that you can sell for face value of £75 but you could negotiate a % of the players winnings. Also get the money from the prizepool in tonights comp.

If you win you can sell the seat for £75 on the exchange board on the APAT forum.  If you want, you could ask for 10% if their winnings for example.

The APAT Walsall seat was won by Noe ... well done that woman, she was desperate for a seat and has been very vocal on the apat forum LOL.

I hope some of the new players stick around and maybe join us for our next league game on thursday.

Couple of things must be said,  The table banter and standard of play at this online event was the best on line experience I have ever had.  I know, I know - of course you would say that as you won.  I am 100% sure however, that I would be feeling the same way about my experience had I went out a few tables prior, in fact I almost did.  I went from Chip Leader to nder 2k and nearly out on the final table.  I lost huge on an AQ that missed, and more on an AJ that missed.  Plus I had (i think Geo) somebody shoving over Suze to me every BB as they sussed what a nit I was.  I am really glad I cashed, over the moon I got my seat.  ;)

I have decided poker and drinking do not mix, so no need to warn the bartender - until I donk out of event.  Well maybe a cheeky one or two.....  My win comes with mixed emotions as I know Suze was playing hard to win for Robyn, who is a local Bath friend of hers.  I adore RAO too and was content on final table to go out with some Piss up money for the weekend.  Sorry Robyn  ..

Secondly, how do I join this league?  Are all league games open to anybody in the forums?  Can somebody link me to the schedule or FAQ.  Really was a great online tournament experience even at the early stages and I think I would love to make playing on Blonde a more regular thing.

Merry Christmas

Stupid Question Alert:

Does my £75 come out of the winning automatically for the Seat?  Does I need to transfer it to a particular account?  Should I withdrawl my £75 from here and take with me to Walsall?
