Title: Re: aces on limit Post by: EvilPie on January 21, 2009, 02:38:22 PM You're probably beat 95% of the time here.
However, you have pot odds of about 20 to 1 anyway so you snap call and see what happens. Your flop cap gives you info as real strength shown when they raise the turn. However, there is a reasonable chance you are ahead, and the 4 kinda helps your hand. If staceyew had raised the river, it's an easy pass I can't help but call here, but only one more bet...pass if it comes back to you. I'm not expecting to drag the pot though :( Title: Re: aces on limit Post by: Cf on January 21, 2009, 03:56:03 PM A nice example of why FL scares the hell out of me..

Title: Re: aces on limit Post by: MC on January 21, 2009, 10:21:29 PM Have you got rakeback on Full Tilt Paul?
Cos you really shouldn't play limit without a rakeback deal. At least at volume...It's a good proportion of your profit. Title: Re: aces on limit Post by: Ironside on January 22, 2009, 12:30:32 AM ps i would snap call if i thought that there would be no more bets

If it gets raised then we know we're losing so don't put another dime in. We're definitely not calling all the way to the limit. Just because fab keeps calling doesn't mean he's on a flush draw. Plenty more hands are worth calling with aiming to get to showdown. If we're behind (which we probably are) I'd say it's JsaucE that's got the monster. Fab should have noticed his strong play and won't raise with anything other than something huge telling us for definite that we have to let go. Title: Re: aces on limit Post by: spence on January 23, 2009, 06:17:33 AM I raise the turn.
Call once on river as stated. |
