This was brilliant.

It might be series 3 but for those who haven't watched before, you don't have to. Basically a completely new show which was just as good as the first 2 seasons.

If you find immature humour funny you'll love this.

this series sucks, if you had it with proper working class folk, yeah you'd have a shit load of barley intelligible dialect and an unbearable amount of burberry, but the stories would be shit hot.

I dunno...it started off bad but seemed to get better as it went on - lots of cringeworthy moments at the start, especially in the pub, but once the scene where Cook started singing had passed, I was cringing less and laughing more.

Mackenzie Crook as fake gangster with ridic moustache was stupid.

To me, it appears that Cook's character is based on Chris from s1+2 - the difference is that Cook's far too chavvy to be Chris. I think it's a pretty crappy attempt to show the differences between drink and drugs, Chris came off as "cool" because he was always taking happy pills and smoking weed, Cook's an aggressive prat because all he does is keep drinking lager.

It'll be interesting to see what's gonna happen with all the other characters, we know Effy's a hell of a lot wilder than she has been so far, and wtf's going on with Emily and Naomi? IF they do that right it could be very very good. Oh, and please get rid of Pandora - she's a waste of space.

see what u mean about cook being similar to chris, but chris was just a much better character. cook is just a characature of a "lad"

skins season 3 is pretty wank i think a huge disappiontment.

cook is a nob and that geek is a rubbish too twins seem boring there isnt much to them all just effy and the skate board dude seem intresting to me.

the characters seem very unintresting to me compared to the past season.

I don't think this season is terrible, but it's not great.

It seems like they're writing very much to a template.

The characters are all predefined, the stories are all predifined and they've got writers to just join the dots - rather than actually have anyone creative.

If it is exactly the same people who created the first 2 series then they've just ran out of steam.

Effy is the only good character in it and she was already there from before. If it wasn't for her and the twins I probably wouldn't bother watching the rest.

Shameless is back, why watch anything else :)

It's only been 2 episodes...gotta give them time. Best way to treat it is as a completely new programme - because that's what it is.

MW, they have loads of new writers, not just the cast that changed. Give it a chance, imo.

Downloaded Season 1 last year - gave up after 5 episodes mainly cos I couldn't stand Frank. Just not my cup of tea, I guess.

Frank IS "Shameless" ffs ... It is the best programme on terrestrial TV by a country mile ... FACT!
